Harlan County - Somerset Predictions

Featured Replies

How do you see this game shaping up? I'd say some of the HC kids that have taken thrashings at the hands of of the Jumpers have had this game marked for a long time.:ylsuper:

Harlan Co. 28-27.

What seed is HC? Are we going to end up playing two weeks in a row?

Jumpers need to give constant effort every play and finish every play. Should be a good hard hitting game. Hope the Jumpers do like UK after the the LSU debacle a fews years ago, put last week behind them and come together as brothers and finish this season strong.

Don't know a lot about Somerset except the road between there and London is about as lonesome and boring as 119 between Harlan and Pineville. Shouldn't be to bad though coming back home as winners. Harlan County 35-21. Go Bears!

Anybody feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but we are the #3 seed in our district and I don't think it is confirmed yet which of the teams we play in your district. I think it still depends on how the rest of the games finish out.

That being said, I'm taking the Black Bears to bring us a big "W" back to Harlan County to finish out the regular season.

GO BEARS!!! :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

I went to the Corbin/Somerset and it wasn't pretty. Somerset scored because of special teams plays, but their offense had a VERY difficult time moving the ball. I look for Harlan County to roll in this one:

Harlan County 42

Somerset 20

Somerset still has some speed, but I will take the Bears 32-20.

Who has Somerset beaten this year?

I think they are going to be 3rd or 4th in that district. I think they have also beat Pineville.

They'll probably be second or third. They can't be fourth because that's Garrard. They'll be third if they lose to Harlan County.

Somerset is 5-4 and 4-1 in their district. They are in a 3 way tie for first place but it looks like they will either be the 2nd or 3rd seed in the district.

They have beaten:

4-5 Metcalfe County 57-30

4-5 Garrard County 44-27

7-2 Wayne County 41-7

2-8 Jackson County 63-8

2-7 Casey County 49-16

They have lost to:

4-5 Southwestern 48-28

6-3 Taylor County 45-42

4-6 Russell County 27-23

10-0 Corbin 56-10
