Revenge for what? How many players on that team played for Cawood last year? Do the players from the other two schools even care about last years Somerset @ Cawood game? It was a good hard fought game that was very emotional as it was the last regular season game for Cawood last year.

There are lots of former Redskins and Wildcats who played against Somerset as freshmen and sophomores.

From what I hear, the kids of today don't pay much attention to what some of us old dudes feel would be important. Such as old rivalries, they play for today and don't seem to care about yesteryear.

I think you're right, Bayshore. Kids seem to have shorter memories than the old farts do.

In yesterday's Harlan Daily Enterprise the Somerset coach said "we played the Gilliam kid (one of our running backs) and Blanton (our quarterback) and those kids from Cumberland"...so evidently they have played more of our boys than just the ones originally from Cawood. I think our boys want this game badly. :fight:
