I THINK CATHOLIC, LCA, AND HENRY CLAY ARE THE TOP 3 TEAMS IN THE REGION. CATHOLIC HAS A LOT COMING BACK, LCA LOST A LOT BUT STILL HAS SOME FIRE POWER, HENRY CLAY HAS SOME COMING BACK BUT THEY HAVE ABOUT 4 NEW FACES AND SOME YOUNG PLAYERS WHO HAVE IMPROVED DURING THE OFF-SEASON

Mark it down right now....a team from Lexington will win the State Title. Either Lafayette, Bryan Station, or Henry Clay.

I kinda understand what you are saying. It is important to maintain a good gpa and pass your classes, but there are certain circumstances were the only reason a player may graduate from high school is b/c of sports. There are some athletes as well as other students who flat out can not maintain a C average. These students would drop out of school w/out sports and usually do drop out of school and end up on the streets...b/c they are not qualified to play HS sports.

Henry Clay runs both the wing T and the spread. It worked pretty well for us too.

Keith Tandy is pretty good...gave us some trouble. Has alot of tangibles. Although I would not give him my vote for Mr. Football unless he really shines next year. There are others out there that are better, but at this point he deserves to be in the mix.

^Minnifield went to The Lexington School, but played his only year of middle school football in the Lexington Catholic Youth Football Program. He is receiving interest from KY, L'ville, Michigan, Michigan St, Northwestern and Memphis.

I beleive we scrimmaged LexCath 5 or 6 years ago. Coming back: RB/CB Minnifield: "playmaker" sr to be WR Jeter: 1000 yrd rec sr to be WR Boyd: 6'4'' jr to be. 500+ yrds rec LB Burton: 70+ tacks DB Bentley: 70+ tacks A very good nucleus. Holes to fill are QB, OL, LB, and DL(players w/ experience returning but will need to step up). OL will have five new starters, but exceptional size: 6'5'' 330 JR 6'3'' 250 JR 6'4'' 250 SO 6'2'' 240 JR 6' 230 SR 6' 190 SR This group may take a little time to develope, but have in my opinion the best offensive line coach in the state if not the best coach to mold them into a good unit...Marty Joyce(Clark Co head coach in 1991 who won state title and beat Trinity and St. X in consecutive games to do it).

Ive heard this also, from his coach. I have heard that if he had gotten his act togethor he would of had a good shot at playing on Sundays.

^The administration could help that situation by not redistricting every 3 years. There are certain area's in town were the high school that they end up going to may not be the one they expected to go to at the start of middle school.

Can someone just explain to me how Chris Cessna made the team. He hardly played.

I disagree because 90% of Trinity's passes are rollouts. In those situations height does not matter.

They have alot of talent and great speed. It's a raw team right now, but I think they could be a playoff team in a year or two.

Boyd is sophmore....a young one also. Jeter played his first game at safety against Trinity and did a fine job. He also compilled over 1000 yrds receiving.
