Fern Creek 28 Manual 21 Highlands would be 3rd or 4th best in 6A. Manual will be solid come playoff time.

St.X 14 Ballard 10. Tough first game for X.

Two interceptions, the rest fumbles. The speed clearly was in favor of St.X. Most of the X touchdowns came from within the 10 yd line-short power runs due to numerous Henry Clay turnovers. Henry Clay seemed a little stunned with the speed of the St.X defense.

I'd say 3A is wide open this year.

Last scrimmage before the regular season for St.X. I think the offense had 4-5 turnovers. Defense played pretty well causing I think around 4-5 turnovers. Overall-sloppy. Lots of work to be done before the Tiger's visit Ballard.

Seneca is a 6A team. No shocker for me.

Highlands played St.X a couple years ago at Manual Stadium. I think X put 50 on them.:thumb:

When is the 6A preview coming out?

St.X played well. I'm not gonna get to excited yet. Fern Creek looked very confused on defense and had nothing that even resembled a rushing attack. St.X secondary needs some work. X lost a ton of talent due to graduation, not sure what to make of the 2009 version.

Its gonna be a fun year:clap:

Brian Buehner-St.Xavier

St.Xavier coaching staff clocked cb/wr Daylen Hall at 4.33 on the turf a couple weeks ago. Ryan Leonehrt has looked great at wr-te during 7on7. Luke Brohm has looked very strong at qb-te. Overall, St.X looked pretty good during 7v7 tournaments. Lb Jason Barito will be a name folks will get used to hearing during the regular season.

St.Xavier

Male looks small this season at the specialty positions. With that being said, Bobby Redman usually turns in his best coaching performances with small quick teams. Beware of High School in 2009.

You should be fine. I, for one, consider 4.6-4.7 decent speed. Since your guys run around the same time I don't get the concern?:confused:

I would say Buehner got about 70% and Brohm got the other 30%. Lots of speed on the field for X.

Luke Brohm looked solid at QB and TE. Snelling, Lawson and Beach started at LB and played well. Ryan Lohnert played well at WR-TE. should ad some needed depth at both positions. Daylen Hall had around 10 passes thrown his diretion the entire day and picked 3 off and batted 5 away.I guess the 40 time he turned in last week is getting around. Neal looked like a beast at RB. Seems much faster than last year. I know we played New Albany, Lexington Laf. Lex Cath- Fort Campbell but I can't remember who we played in the first game. Overall I was very pleased with the team speed.

Moore was pretty impressive, I think they beat Central. Fort Campbell also looked pretty solid.
