For the upcoming season!

I'd say West from Conner, and Bardo from HHS are the best two in NKY. I've seen West first hand, and he is a very poised and gifted QB, and many think Bardo was the best Qb in Ft Thomas in '08, so he must be good.

Neal Pawsat at Mason County. Great arm, 6' 3" 200 lbs. Smart, 4.0 GPA. An all-round great athlete.

I like Lucas Witt at LCA for overall. Its really heartwrenching what happened to Senecas' great QB.

Bardo from Highlands. Big tall lefty with a cannon for an arm. I heard he out played the QB from Moeller in 7 on 7 a few weeks ago. The kid from Moeller has already signed with Notre Dame..:thumb:

In all fairness, Bardo and the QB from Moeller are to totally different types of QB's. Bardo can throw a long ball and thread a needle with it. The QB from Moeller is more of a short throw and just run you over type QB. Bardo will out run you before he will run you over.

But if Bardo has to, I'm sure he will run you over. Just don't think he will have to.

I think you're pushing it a bit.

I heard from many people that saw the 7 on 7 that Hendrix was going to ND for a reason...and Bardo has yet to prove himself, so until then..

Also, as Henry just said...two totally different types of qb's.

I think Bardo will be one of the better QB's in NKY this year, behind West IMO. West just doesn't have the supporting cast Bardo will have which will make Bardo look even better.

Have you seen Bardo play?? I don't think I am pushing it one bit. The kid can flat out throw. If he doesn't play D1 next year I will be very surprised.

Can I just say this without anyone jumping on me? lol..but everyone in Ft. Thomas said the SAME thing about Guidugli last year, and I don't believe [maybe I'm wrong] that he ended up playing D1.

Am i saying Bardo won't go D1? heck no. I've heard from some very smart people that he was a better qb than Guidugli last year, and that he indeed has a heck of an arm. But i think it is DEF. a stretch to say he outplayed Hendrix. Hendrix is going to ND for a reason...and on top of that they are different types of QB.

Brian Buehner- St.Xavier.

In my opinion I thought he was better than Guidugli last year. He is a different player than Hendrix. This was a 7 on 7 where all you do is pass. I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens. I think he will make alot of people believers by the end of the year..The kid is very talented..:thumb:

Since the starting thread included the entire state, here is a QB from a lowly 2A school in Western Kentucky.

Fort Campbell Senior QB Antonio Andrews

2008 Stats: 1771 Rushing Yards, 27 Rushing TDs / 1698 Passing Yards, 22 Passing TDs

Please reference the highlight film of the 2008 2A Championship game against NCC for documented proof of his ability against a heralded NKY football program.

He is a dual threat - scary good like former West Virginia QB Pat White. Made quite an impression on the coaching staff at the Vanderbilt 7 on 7 passing tournament.

Any serious conversation about Mr. Football in Kentucky this year should at the very least include Antonio Andrews.

A great deal of Highland's success will be a result of Bardo running the football. You not only only have to cover a host of talented receivers, but then you have to deal with a 6'4 200lb quarterback who runs a 4.5. Based on Bardo alone I would be very suprised to see a Northern Kentucky team come within three touchdowns of Highlands this year.
