They would be lucky to get Poynter- he is a good coach - a nice guy and he would work with people to improve the situation- he has substance over style which seems to be needed in Paris.

I think with the talent they have, they will always be competetive in 3A or any A! 3A is no cake walk they proved last year they are alot better than some 6a teams that played a common opponent including Henderson and others. You can put the top 10 in 3a up against 1-4 A and it would be great games.

Central played Manual and Highlands down to the wire- Manual beat Henderson 55-7- Manual drubbed some 6a teams worse than them; so Central can obviously play with the big boys as well as many 3a teams can.

Spring practice is a wash unless an assistant does it... You seem to know a lot about the job- Do you know what it pays... how many assistants can be brought in... how much is the teaching pay for a Rank 2 with 14 yrs... How many players are returning... Are the kids scared to work...How is support- budget- facilities- etc- I might know someone that is Real interested;)

So there are two different set of rules -those that practice recruiting players from their school district and those that recruit from everywhere? This is not a debate at all... you asked for opinions and I gave mine on reallignment ONLY, your opinon is just that... I would never say you were wrong... but again until the issue of private and public is worked out... this will be the only issue that is debated with such emotion.

Would you rather beat 16 teams or 55 in the bunched up middle classes?? I still think a school that can draw from anywhere and not call it recruiting has an advantage over a neighborhood/public school. Can anyone tell me... how this is fair?? Private and independents have an advantage over a public school by what they are allowed to do. When does High school sports equal an all-star team with kids from any county or state?? All privates should be put in the super class or have a big multiplier on them to get them in a higher division where schools with 500 boys can compete.

North has a new field and fieldhouse that will be completed by the start of the 08 season. 100 lockers in field house, offices- film room- etc. More players are coming out after the 8-4 season last year. Some transfers that left are returning from other schools. It is nice to see the positive changes that are happening within the school and the community. A total of $29 million is going towards enlarging and updating the school- should be really nice when it is all completed.

Why did the last situation not work then- because of the reasons above or did they go that way when jackson took over- or has this been a gradual decline? Some people might interview if they know more about the timeline when these 4 things you stated declined.
