Yes, Bundy has greatly improved his shooting throughout this season and that has made him a more complete ball player. He was too athletic to not be able to score, so I am glad to see it! The Tigers have talent and are tough when they play well, but I don't see a State Championship in 2006. I'd just be happy with a Regional Title this year. So the only celebration in 2016 will probably be a 20 year reunion of the 1996 team.

Many great players, but as far as ppg and impact on their team, I'd give it to Owens! But you have to at least give mention to Vanhoose, McDavid, McCowan and Jones. They all have had a good year and helped their teams greatly!

Does it really matter? The 14th, 15th and 16th are the weakest in the state! IMO they would be ranked 15th weakest, 16th next, and 14th next. But it really doesn't matter. Any of them should be blown out by the big dogs at Rupp. But it is fun to go watch anyway!

No one can be counted out, that is for sure!! And anyone can lose on a given night. BUT Morgan IF they play to their ability is definately the odds on favorite!

What is even worse Frances is that Russell could have started the seniors without jeopardizing the game at all. They could have taken them out after one minuite if they had chosen to do so. But to not start them at all??? I just don't understand that!

Congrats to the Tigers! Some of the best ball that I have seen the Tigers play all year! They can always do better, but they did play very good offensively and their defense was better than in most of their other games! I would especially like to congratulate Kevin Williams on a very good game! Some foul trouble (some very picky calls) kept him out a lot, but he played very good offense when in the game and he seemed to be much more aggressive on defense than usual. That is good to see. Kevin CAN BE a force to deal with if he would just be a little more aggressive under the basket and that seemed to be happening last night! Good to see because the Tigers will need him! Great job by all the Tigers on a great game. The team work was excellent! And even though JD had some shooting troubles, everyone can't be hot every night! Next game it may be his turn.

Congrats to the Tomcats for finally getting a win over Russell!! Anyway, everyone starts over now. The Tomcats have some momentum to build on having won 6 straight. But I hope they don't think that they are now automatic favorites because that would be a big mistake. The Tomcats have played some poor teams and some good teams in that 6 game stretch and some have been close. The key is to play fundamental ball and take it one game at a time! Good luck!!

Ashland's win streak is definately a positive. But their last 2 games have been against weak opponents. The game against Russell will show if they truly have arrived in time for tourney time!

Congrats to the Tigers! This was a very hard fought game by both teams! Neither could put the other away, even though both had their opportunities to do so. There were several poorly executed offensive plays by the Tigers, but they just wouldn't give up. One thing about this game though is that the Tigers never did have a big lead to blow! It was close throughout and the Tigers were down as many times as they were up on the scoreboard. Refs did a fairly good job, some bad calls as usual, but they went both ways!

Congrats to the Tomcats on another win!! The Tomcats have played two weak opponents the last two, BUT the win streak continues and this has to be a good confidence builder going into the districts!

Good win Devils! Elliott County is just one of those teams. When they hit they can win and when they don't they won't usually win. That makes them dangerous to any team in the tourneys!

:thumb: But don't count the Lions out yet!! They have a lot of talent and can beat any team in the Region on a given night! BC needs to work on the following problems: (1) TEAMWORK. No jealousy. No showboating. Just get it done. (2) TEAMWORK! Can't stress that one enough! It is not just about Owens! (3) Play the game from start to finish. 1, 2 or 3 quality quarters aren't always enough. (4) Stay focused on playing the game and not get distracted by "bad calls" from the refs. Bad calls are part of the game, but some of the Boyd players seem extremely offended when a "bad call" or "no call" comes their way. And they let it effect their game. Shrug it off and keep on playing hard. (5) Confidence that they can win the game!! Never give up or lose confidence. If the Lions can make progress on these areas, they could have an even better season than they have had so far!! Good luck!

I don't think we can expect Paintsville to score 32 points in a quarter every game, and I don't think that we can expect them to hit 70% plus from the field every game, BUT this was one of the best games that I have seen the Tigers play this year. They need to keep working on D, but this was a big improvement over their other games!! Maybe it is the JC gymnasium? What is Paintsville's record there over the last 4 years? If I am not mistaken, it is pretty good!!

Where did you come up with such wild ideas??? :confused: First, you need to stick with your team and if they play, Boyd can beat Fairview. Then it should be Ashland that beats Rose Hill, but who knows! Anyway, assuming you were to luck out and hit your predictions, there is not much more of a chance that Fairview would draw Morgan than there would be that they would beat them!

That and the fact that they have solid individual players who can step up when another has an off night is what makes them so tough to beat! That is what it takes to win a tript to Rupp! If Morgan keeps their focus and concentration and takes each game as serious as they would a regional championship, then they should, and I emphasize should, win the region!

Congrats to the Cougars!! I picked Morgan by 8. And like I said earlier, if EC didn't shoot the ball well, it would be a bigger win for Morgan. Morgan just has to remember that they need to play their ball and not overlook anyone! That should put them in Rupp!

Yeah, they even showed it against Betsy Layne, except for falling apart the second half in that one!

This was just a game where Paintsville finally showed what they CAN do! Don't know what got them so fired up, even though it was JC, but it is one of the better Paintsville showings all year! Congrats Tigers!!

Looks like the Hornets are showing that they can make some noise in the 57th!! Congrats Hornets!!
