Wtg Devils!!!

Blair had 28 and VanHoose had 28 points on the night.

Nice victory for Russell. How did Gill do?

Nice victory for Russell. How did Gill do?

Gill had 8 points.

Elliott still having trouble beating the traditional powers. Blair has seemed to pick up his game in the last two weeks.

Good win for Russell at a tough place to play. The Red Devils have to start hitting freethrows and making smarter decisions to put teams away. The game was never as close as the final score would indicate.

Always nice to get a victory in Sandy Hook, good win for Russell.

Nice win for Russell. I listened to some of the game. Russell was up 30-15 I believe after VanHoose had hit a 3 pointer. Did Elliott Co. ever make a game of it, or is the final margin as close as they got?

Right at the the beginning of the second half, Elliott got it to 6, and got it to 7 with about a minute to go but never could get the lead. Vanhoose and Blair was lights out tonight for Russell. Russell played a very packed man to man defense that limited Elliott's penetration. Elliott had another cold shooting night, and Russell dominated the boards. Good job Russell, you earned it.

Good win, just as the tournament starts to roll in. Devils need to build on this win....

Good win Devils! Elliott County is just one of those teams. When they hit they can win and when they don't they won't usually win. That makes them dangerous to any team in the tourneys!

A good quality win for Russell, Blair was my player of the game, solid game at the point, with 28 points, 10 rebounds, 3 turnovers, and 10 for 11 from the free throw line, Elliot played with all the emotion of senior night, shot at 20 win season, and ekc title on the line but Russell controlled the game throughout and hit just enough free throws down the stretch to keep Elliot at bay. Ross "big stack" Turner had a solid game off the bench with 7 boards to help give Russell a 39 to 25 advantage on the board. :thumb:

" School Turmoil" Did you come up with that all by yourself ?

No. Dodd, Kidwell, and some children helped me with it.
