nerf
It really was a wild game, hissister. Elliott County played hard and Morgan County played hard. The fans from both sides yelled a lot and loudly and we won! Elliott County's gym always has an intense atmosphere and tonight was no exception. I am glad we got the win and hope we continue winning for a very long run.

RA09
No quit in the boys from Sandy Hook. They just didnt shoot the ball like they usually do and that is what determined the game. They missed 18 free throws. Congrauts to Morgan Co. and Nathienel Peyton on a great played ball game. Elliott Co. will bounce back. Next up, Russell Red Devils on what will be the Seniors last ball game on their home floor. Good Luck.
Augger
A good win for Morgan County. Elliott County is a good team that always puts up a fight.
Caveman
Morgan's intensity showed up tonight and their good ball movement set the tone early on for some open shots. Big Blake was a man in the post as usual. Morgan's defense was great early on but Elliott's penetration hurt them in the fourth quarter. Hard to do much complaining though when the offense is clicking like it was tonight. All around great effort tonight by the team. The chip on their shoulder was pretty easy to see. They really wanted this one.
hissister
Perry can't be pleased with the Cougars giving up 51 second half points. They usually don't give up that many in an entire game.

I am sure he isn't and that will be addressed in practice this week.
ky hoopster
A lot of Morgan fan's complained that poor shooting cost them the first game ! How's 4 of 29 from 3 land for elliott an 15 of 30 from the stripe tonight. Now that's poor shooting! Ferguson also had 11 rebound's to go with the 24 pt's. Nothingbutnet
Congrats to the Cougars!! I picked Morgan by 8. And like I said earlier, if EC didn't shoot the ball well, it would be a bigger win for Morgan. Morgan just has to remember that they need to play their ball and not overlook anyone! That should put them in Rupp!
Nets
Morgan Co. shows their versatility in that they can play a variety of different styles and be successful.
I'M BACK!
Great win by the Cougars.. Showed tonight that they have the horses to play any style of game. Just hope Haney and Mcowan keep up their intensity. This team has what a lot of other teams don't. They have 4 or 5 different guys that can take a game over on any given night. Take care of business Tuesday night at Raceland, Then the real season begins..
Nothingbutnet
Morgan Co. shows their versatility in that they can play a variety of different styles and be successful. That and the fact that they have solid individual players who can step up when another has an off night is what makes them so tough to beat! That is what it takes to win a tript to Rupp! If Morgan keeps their focus and concentration and takes each game as serious as they would a regional championship, then they should, and I emphasize should, win the region! nerf
Facts already mentioned in this thread plus the TEAM SPIRIT make me dream what would once have been an impossible dream -- a trip to play on Rupp Arena floor.
Caveman
How's 4 of 29 from 3 land for elliott an 15 of 30 from the stripe tonight. Morgan shot terribly at the stripe as well. This needs to be corrected or it will definately bite us in the postseason.
