  1. Boone is young,,,um i say RYLE 50-46
  2. Scott is coming off of a Emotional lost last night and Coach carr only played seven guys so they may be very tired tonight.
  3. I have heard he moved???????? He didnt transfer he lived in Alexadria and He moved to Taylor Mill
  4. Scotts Jv Team isnt very big thier tallest player inside is about 6'2, they play alot of guards, however thier Guards are taller than most guards. THey play alot of guys they only have three JR's the majority of their JV team are all sophmores i think they started 4 sophs and 1 JR with another JR being the first off the bench. The sophmores that start however are the guys getting some varsity minutes so you can count on seeing the JV guys in the Varsity game as well.
  5. This will be a fun game as usual and will be close. Scott needs to come out of the gate playing hard and fast like they have been that will create problems for the center Hurd who will have to Guard Miller who plays alot on the perimeter now....If scott plays this game in half court SK will have their way in this one but if the Eagles play fast under control and solid D they can be a big problem for SK
  6. I think this game will depend on the way Scott comes out for this game..They have a tendency to start slow and pick it up in the second half and starting slow will be dangerous against an offense like Mason CO. Scott's Seniors have very good chemistry together....So if Scott comes out slow I think Mason can win big if not Scott will hang around..
  7. Scott played well they are all over the court, Chris Quigely led all scorers not sure how much he had but he had two nice Jams... Coach Carr played 12 guys tonight and they all contributed.
  8. Yeah I told everyone that they were deep in their soph class and I believe there are 4 Sophs that will play alot of varsity minutes....Hillard, Hagfors, Nikola, Murray
  9. I think Walter may be Joe Wagner and no he is not playing
  10. One of the best shooters in the region is a bit much....I said one of the best not the best...
  11. Nikola Is his first name he is one of the strongest kids on the team....Has made tremendous strides from his Freshman year to now,,,It will be a toss up really,,,Either Nikola, Smith, Bianchi (JR) or Hillard (SOPH) that will get that finaly spot....
  12. Scott should be fine this year the Group of seniors they have this year were sophmores when coach carr took over, so they know what is expected of them and they know how hard they have to play to win games.. I think Scott wil fair well in the tenth region this year they have two returing starters in Sharpe and Quigley, Sharp was the second leading scorere last year behind Howard. They Insert their Sixth man Danny Miller in the line up now, and he came on strong at the end of the season. Their seventh man last year was Kenny Phelts and he will be inserted into the line up probably along with Ryne Smith who is and Senior and one of the best shooters in the region. They are Small but have experiance in Varsity play. They will play alot of young Guys off the bench this year, they will be fun to watch it will be run and gun.
  13. I agree that Mason Will be the team to beat but by no means will they dominate the region... GRC will be tough, but for all the Brossart non believers i am one right here, they are a very big strong physical team, and alot of the teams arent very big but Brossart returns a 6"5 PF and a 6'6 center and thier advantage will be their strenth inside i look for them to lose very little and win alot of games...I dont believe PC will be very good, Belcher is the only player that is returning with alot of varsity experiance.....I like Harrison and Scott two teams that are returning 2 starters and like to shoot the three ball.......I look for Harrison and Scott to be in the top 5 bye the end of year this season....
  14. I talked to a parent a couple of weeks ago and they told me that they will have a deep sophmore class, and that 3 of them can come off the bench and contribute right away because they have a week Junior class....As far as size one of the Sophmores is 6"2 and strong as an ox but other than that they are all Guard/Forwards that are about 5"10 to 6"1.....They have a Freshman center that is 6"2 and Growing
  15. what about the forward that played JV last year he plays football his name is Ryan B cant prounounce his last name.....I thought that he may start this year....
  16. Its Early in the school year but was wondering who you thought the projected starting 5 will be for your team this year, and who will be key players off the bench for this coming season
  17. rumor has it that coach Mick Cronin and Darius have been in talks.....His father works with my uncle and Darius is stongly considering UC
  18. Boone will be very Good you will see a couple of them get Varsity Minutes this year..........Dixie has some great players coming in Followed by a great 8th grade class after that........Ryle will have some good big men having two big guys at 6"3 each and they are good.....I dont know anything about Highlands.......or Holy Cross..............
  19. Im Telling everyone this,,,, Who ever takes the Ryle Job is going to strike gold in the next coule of years.....They had a very Good Freshman team last year and they have a great eigth grade class coming in....And they have great size two Guys at 6"3 who are still going to grow alot.....The next couple of years will be tough at Ryle but they are still a year or two away
  20. I think Nemi being out of Ryle is the Best bet right now for Ryle......Ryle should be a contender for the regional title every year....They have been known for ruining kids... Whoever gets the job for Ryle is in a great position,,they have some good young talent coming up...... Thier Varisity team will struggle next year because they have a weak Senior class and a sub par Junior class..... Thier Freshman team last year was very impressive and the have two 6"3 Freshman coming in next year..... I watched them both play and they have tramendous potential..... They both just now started growing.....Ryle is still two years away
  21. 1. Holmes- The most talent by far in a very weak region 2. Brossart- Will be huge and unstopable inside,,,wil cuase match up problems 3. Cov Cath- Will have good young talent around some experianced veterans 4. Holy Cross- Jimmy Ryan will be a contender for player of the year 5.Dixie- We will finally get to see that "Exciting Junior Class" that has talked about for a couple of years. 6.Newcath- A good Senoir Big man will be great in a region that doesnt have many big men so Keirnan will have a field day next year. 7. Scott- how they are not in anyones top ten i dont know they return two starters and their 6 and 7 men from last year will be in the lineup this year. 8. Boone- Farris will be tough,,,and they have a good Sophmore class with some good Freshaman coming in including a 6"6 Freshaman 9. Highland- Willy will always have them playing good. 10. Ryle- cant think of anyone else
  22. Well i believe that BW will win this.. Just because of the pitching depth. I dont want to here that Beechwood has good hitting. You will be welcomed to the 10th (which wont be a warm one) and realize that every team can hit in the 10th unlike the 9th. You just cant blow your fastball by Harrison. Were talking about semi state here. We know Beechwood can hit, thats why they are there at state. HELLO!! Harrison will come out strong. You better get out ahead, and get to the bullpen. Harrison will take it. I know that Harrison dont have the best pitching, but i saw Harrison tee off of Beechwood but came out with the loss. I just cant wait!!
  23. Beechwood barley beat Harrison.. So it could go either way. They also had Curley on the mound toward the end of the came and they pounded the ball agianst him. Harrison Co offense wont let them down. There hasnt been many times this year the pitching dominated Harrison Co. Harrison and Beechwood can both kill the ball!! If i were Beechwood i wouldnt throw Curley. If Curley throws i see Harrison (a fast ball hitting team) do just fine agianst him. Will Lewis throw for Harrison?? i heard he has had some arm trouble?? Harrison has no depth in pitching. Beechwood will take advantage of that
  24. Brent Smith who was a senior pitched against harrison did a good job agianst them and threw a 4 hitter which was his last start of the year. I believe he entered some arm trouble plus pitched on Sr night which ended up getting rained out
