10 Good
  1. I like Sharp and Miller but i think the eagles will miss Quigley in this one,,,TJ has a big game,,,High Scoring Game Cov Cath 70-65
  2. My fault didnt see another loss the following year,,,,,i stand corrected
  3. No your wrong my friend the streak started Jan 24th against Bracken CO thier last lost was to Scott in 03 74-71,,,,,,,i know this cuz i played in that game and the Scott players where talking about ending their streak tonight since the last lost came from them,,,,,,,,,,,,
  4. PC has got Scott the last 3 years but even at home i cant see them really coming close,,,Too much Sharp and Smith in this one...I say Scott by 15
  5. Kellen Smith has done a tremendous job at the Freshman level he is the second leading scorer on the team and starts at the point guard spot.. He is excellent at passing the ball and makes smart decisions and rarely turns it over,,,,He is only in the eighth grade so he does need to get stronger and his perimeter shot is improving I expect Smith to stay with this group.....The Freshman team is a work in progress like i said, I think Last i heard they were like 6-11 or something like that... 6 of the 12 players they have played in middle school with each other......The reamaing six are players that the coaching staff are trying to develope.....
  6. Scott's Jv team looks like this 4 JR"S 10 soph's Nick Hiller is a sophmore who is the 6 man right now for the varsity he will be a factor next year....the leading JV Scorer's are JR Jordan Atkins and Sophmore Stefan Hagfors...I believe Coach carr will only keep three JR's next year and 8 sophmores....One of those Juniors being Tyler Baker
  7. Scott's Freshman team is a work in progress right now, They may only keep 5 players from this class and probably only 3 for all four years.....Daniel O'Connor is a 6"5 Freshman who coach car is expecting to be a all region player by the time he is a Senior....Hopefully he developes so he can help a little next year. The best Freshman Player is Jake Niederegger he is a 6"1 guard who will compete for a varsity starting spot next year....Aaron Wonner 6'0 G/F good peremeter shooter,,,O'Connor and Niederegger are the guys in this class...Scott's point guard is a eighth grader from woodland Kellen Smith he is the little brother of Sr Ryne Smith, and Coach Carr expects him to play JV next year as a freshman......
  8. Technically he can play he was at Cambell Co as a Freshman and then Transfered over to CCA a private school league,,,,Then he went to Calvary as a sophmore and played Varsity ball,,,Now he moved from Alexandria to Taylor Mill so as long as his familly moves he can play,,,I have seen this alot in the past few years Scott got the Harris Twins in 02 and they moved just 15 minutes down the road so they played their JR year at SK and SR year at Scott.....Nate Edmonson another one,,
  9. I watched Baker play at CCA as a sophmore and this kid can flat out play, he brings a complete game to the table. 1st off he is a tremendous athlete he can hop out of a gym and shot over guys by elevating over them. He can stroke the outside shot, He handles the ball very well too,, and is very affective in transition,,,,,Needs to be a better defender though that is my only fall, and he has always played on a team where he is the Guy,,,We will see if he can play unselfish ball.. What this does is give Scott is a huge lift after losing Quigley, and another perimeter threat, a good rebounder from the guard spot and someone else that can handle the ball if Sharp is being hassled,,,Scott doesnt have really any good ball handlers out side of Sharp, but Baker will help..... Now Scott loses 7 Senoirs to graduation and the only other guy with alot of varsity expericane is Sophmore Nick Hiller... but next year Baker will be a Senior and he already will be on every team's target list to be the guy to stop,,,the JV squad looks very good right now,,Throw Baker with them and you got your self a good team.....
  10. I like Scott they are playing to well right now for me to take Highlands in this one i go Scott 50-44 Low Scoring affair.......I dont care who you are Going to Higlands and winning big is very difficult to do.....If Scott gets Baker that would be HUGE!!!!
  11. Who is starting in Quigleys place I would think it would be sophmore Nick Hiller, or Tim Norman
  12. What about Bud Mackey what has he dont this year isnt he from KY somewhere I mean he is going to Indiana
  13. If the game is half court Brossart will have thier way with Scott,,Scott however needs to get on the break and take the ball strong to the hoop...They need to not settle for just threes,,they need to take it to brossarts bigs and get them in the air for a foul,,, Defense I look for Scott to play foull court man jump and run,,,or they may go zone press...Call me crazy but i think brossart may think about playing a zone D....Smith and Sharp are good shooters from three,,,but if they play man Scott will spread the floor and get easy buckets....D for scott if they play man which will be hard to do...I would put Miller on they other big guy for Brossart Muntch(SP) let him go one on one with him,,, Then i would place Quigley on Cooper and when he gets the ball collapes on him with two or three guys....Make Brossart beat you from the outside, but i see maybe zone, but a zone will give Brossart the opportunity to slow the game down....
  14. i think part off the problem is the leadership at Holmes High Kids will make stupid decisions in life and on the court but its a reflection of how they are being taught...I think its time for some changes there with the coaching staff its long overdue for that....Tim Sullivan needs to have the varstiy job for the basketball team,,,many may argue that the coaches are not the ones that make these decisions but when your a coach you are also a friend, Mentor and a father and it is a coaches job to keep things under control and it seems to a problem and its time for a change,,,,Wheather its Tim sullivan or they go out side with Brad Carr....
