Do we know yet when the game with Beechwood will be? Nothing against the Hilltop, but after attending the 9th Region at the Freedom's park, I'd love to see the Semi-State held there. It is an AWESOME venue for high school baseball. The kids could play the semi state there and the finals at Applebee. It doesn't get any better than that!

Great win for the Breds, again and again. Bourbon had a great season.

Thorobreds overcame a rough call in the first that really killed the early momentum. The Breds gutted it out against a very hard fighting Colonels team. It wasn't the prettiest or easiest Regional Championship but the beat goes on. Good luck in the Semi State!

Does anyone know what day and time the sectionals start?

I would guess Wednesday or Thursday, but it is just a guess. Probably start around 6:30 or 7:00.

Good game to watch. The Colonels had the bases loaded twice in the seventh and score one. Both teams are to be congratulated on great seasons. The Semi-state starts Wednesday at Harrison. Lizer and Cook hit HR's for Bourbon. All of Harrison's hits were singles. I thought both starters, Bretz and Martin did good jobs tonight. Good luck to the Breds against Beechwood. Do the 10th proud !!!!! I thought the venue at Campbell County was good as well. Thanks to the Breds and Colonels fans for the compliments on the field. It's alot of hard work putting on a regional tournament.

Lewis was the starter for Harrison.

I wasn't at the game but listened to parts of it . The first two runs Harrison got were scored on balls that should have been outs.That is the way the ball bounces and if you get them you usually win.Good luck against Beechwood,playing at home should help.

All of the state sectionals are on June 7th, 8th, and 9th. KHSAA originally had the dates wrong on their website.
