  1. I am going to predict that LexCath doesn't get out of the Distict.
  2. Will FC have any line-up changes because of senior night? I know they have 7 seniors, and 4 who usually start. What will their line-up look like tonight?
  3. Franklin County Watkins 15 points 10 rebounds Meyer 14 points 3 rebounds 5 assists Hall 10 points 5 rebounds 5 assists Hicks 8 points 5 rebounds Conner 8 points 4 rebounds Donovan 3 points 4 rebounds Jennels 3 points McKee 3 points Clark County Hatton 22 points Zollo 17 points 12 rebounds Stenzel 13 points Williams 4 points
  4. After reading all these posts, I think I am going to have to go with 'Fan of the 11th' on this one. I hope that poor little Franklin County will at least show up and try and put up a fight in this one. As "Tru Balla" said, It is probably there last opportunity in a long time so I just hope they can keep it respectable.
  5. I hope the GRC coaching staff is using this as their scouting report. I'm sure Hall and Meyer, if they were on here, would laugh out loud at this. I believe that have faced quickness, speed, and great defenders this year and throughout their careers. They even faced Williams last season, and didn't seem to go weak in the knees.
  6. I think on a given night any one of 6 teams could win it: Scott County Franklin County Lexington Catholic Tates Creek Bryan Station Dunbar
  7. I think the team that is most likely to be in the state finals in the champion of the 7th region. The have the best draw in the State Tourney. Whoever wins the 9th, 10th, & 11 have an extremely tough road to get there.
  8. Franklin County Conner 12 points 11 rebounds Hicks 11 points 6 steals Meyer 10 points 5 rebound 5 assists Hall 9 points 7 rebounds Donovan 7 points 12 rebounds 3 assists McKee 2 points Dundon 1 point Madison Central Clay 16 points Simpson 8 points Covington 3 points Mays 3 points Jarvis 2 points Jenkins 2 points Smith 2 points Ford 1 point
  9. I like the Flyers in this one. They have won 3 or the past 4 meetings, including a crazy game last year that saw the Flyers come from 20 points behind in the 4th quarter to win. Flyers by 8!
  10. This is laughable - because if you check any player rankings for Kentucky, Meyer is rarely ever found. I would say just the opposite, that he is grossly underrated! I would even argue that he either the best or one of the top 2 or 3 pure shooters in the state!
  11. Another example of a referee taking the game out of the players hands, and making a "look at me" call.
  12. Franklin County Meyer 28 - 6-7 from 3 & 6 Assist Hall 14 Donovan 10 Hicks 6 Conner 6 & 11 rebounds Watkins 5 Dundon 3 Jennels 2 Rivers 2 Burton 2 Western Hills Riddle 12 Wise 10 Reed 9 McGaughey 4 Lee 2 Satterwhite 2 Barrass 2 Weber 2

  14. Representative from McDonald's, along with Ronald himself were at Franklin County before the FC vs. Tates Creek game and they recognized Barrett Meyer and Andy Donovan for being nominated. They did a on court presentation right before the start of the game, and gave them both framed certificates for being nominated. It was a nice deal!
  15. Here is the process for selection: http://www.mcdonaldsallamerican.com/selection_process.pdf

  18. They played Dunbar on Thursday night, not Friday!
  19. We will see what kind of move they are making. They travel to Franklin County on Tuesday night to take on the Flyers. Should be a great game.
  20. Donovan 24pts. 6-8 from 3 7 rbs 6asts Meyer 18 pts 4-6 from 3 3 asts Conner 12 pts 7 rbs Hicks 8 Watkins 7 Hall 6 4 asts Dundon 4 Flyers shot the ball well tonight. Probably the best they have shot this season - 58% from the field and 61% from 3(11-18).
  21. Lafayette @ Franklin County is cancelled!
  22. No! Not necessarily. They had 2 last season(Cary Lyle and Terry Smith) and 1 the year before(Mike Goins), but there have been seasons they didn't have any.
