This was an absolute beatdown in the second half. Congrats to the Flyers on the win following the tough game with Tates Creek last night. Donovan had a good night inside and out, made a lot of mid range jumpers. Meyer was on fire from the three point line once again tonight. Meyer and Donovan took over in the third. I believe the Flyers outscored the Wolverines 24-2 in the third quarter. Three tough games remain for the Flyers to end the season, at Madison Central, George Rogers Clark at home followed by Anderson County on senior night.

Wise 10

Reed 9

McGaughey 4

Lee 2

Satterwhite 2

Meyer was on fire. In addition to 3-pt. shooting had some nice drives and finishes or pull-ups. Great game!

Looks like Vance Hall had another nice game.

Vance had a very good game....he looked very quick. Had a nice put back on a rebound...thought he was going to throw it down.

Hall can shoot the three very well, but being the team player he is, his focus has been more driving, drawing the defense giving FC options for the inside out three attempt. With Donovan and Meyer being adequate 3 pt shooters Hall has not been needed to shoot the three. But I will say he is more than capable.

Great job Flyers. :dancingpa

Good win for the flyers but i would like to see this WHOLE team play well against a quality opponent. I'm not trying to knock on Western Hills because I know those district games are never easy, but I'd like to see them play to their potential against a top 25 team. Oh, and Meyer is grossly overrated.

I really hope I can catch a game when all these kids show up on the same night. I've heard there fan's are out of control so I'm scared to go to there games. These people take bad calls personally.

It would be hard to find anyone playing any better than Barrett has played the last couple of weeks.

I agree with you that FC has not played on all cylinders yet against a top ranked opponent. Against such an opponent however, they usually have the players to take something or somebody on FC away from their usual game. For Franklin County, then, somebody else usually steps up. The only bad loss was shorthanded against a tough Holmes team on the road.

This is laughable - because if you check any player rankings for Kentucky, Meyer is rarely ever found. I would say just the opposite, that he is grossly underrated! I would even argue that he either the best or one of the top 2 or 3 pure shooters in the state!

Come on Polo Man, FC fans are just passionate about the game, they can't help it.
