In answer to your question, yes it is time to start talking about PC softball. No, there schedule is not loaded with great teams. Pc has only played one team with a winning record. However there are only three other teams in the region that do. Considering that PC is basically playing a JV team age wise, they should be quite proud of their accomplishments thus far. I would imagine the schedule will be beefed up a bit next year and the seasons to follow. Tourney time this year will be interesting and I suspect they may advance farther than most might expect.

In four seasons the least number of wins he had was 19. The other three were 20+ win seasons. How does that qualify as "ruined"?

After Saturday's visit by UK assistant Joel Justus, Dontaie Allen has been invited to participate in pick up games at the Craft Center this summer. Is such an invitation commonplace for potential recruits? What does this say about UK's interest in Allen?

My understanding is that the 38th will play each other once next year and home and home the following years. Harrison and Pendleton did play each other twice this past year-good gate for both schools.

Can not believe that no one has pointed out that PC had two fouls to give after taking the 50-49 lead. Who knows what the outcome may have been had we been able to use those appropriately. Thanks you so much for this prediction. I feel better about the outcome already. Pc did not play well in that game at Paris. Given that this game is on a neutral floor and PC is at full strength I'll go with PC by 3-5.

Antrobus actually returned Wednesday in the last two minutes against Robertson County. He played significant, quality minutes in the district finals with 6 points and 5 rebounds. So glad to have that inside presence back.

I am certainly not overlooking them. Paris defeated PC the last game of the regular season by 11 points.

You may be correct about Scott but I can't discount them nor Paris.

Antrobus was back and played significant, quality minutes. Neltner had another good game and made all-tournament team as did Allen and Walsh. Pc threw HC's defense off by driving to the basket early in the game instead of settling for the long range threes. Score at the half was 39-13. Yelton had a good floor game. Fans from PC were fantastic,especially the student section. SRO crowd and great atmosphere. Good luck to HC in the regional.

I was told seeding next year would be based on one game only against the other three and home and home the year after next.

Thanks to a 42-25 second half Pc secured the victory. Congrats to RC on a fine game and a fine season. Tonight it was just too much Dontaie Allen and several threes in the second half. PC also did a better job on the boards and did not give up as many second chance points in the second half. RC kids seem to be wonderful young men and Coach Kelsch is a class act.

Another good point. I still refuse to say PC has no chance. Their losses to Papa's top four were by 4,7,11, and 4 respectively. Their two larger defeats were on the winner's home court. If Antrobus is back and any semblance of his best, then who knows.

I agree with you, but the discrepancy is generally not as exaggerated as it was in the Paris game. Allen could create his shots and that is not a strong point for many of the others. Their strength is the three ball which was not falling last night.

Disappointing loss by PC but not devastating. Paris played an excellent game especially on defense; PC did not . Turnovers were huge. Paris had only six while PC had 18 resulting in 12 more field goal attempts for Paris. Paris did an excellent job of contesting the threes. PC actually shot a better percentage(45% to41%) but again the turnovers created by the quickness of the Greyhound defenders was the difference. Eric Johnson was a pleasure to watch. Good luck to both teams in the postseason.
