PC plays two top 20 teams according to the BGP poll. They play the #1 or 2 team in the ninth region(Cooper).They play in the once prestigious Ashland Invitational. Granted it may not be as glamorous as in the past. The Marshall County game would have been a big deal had Zion Harmon been eligible. They play Harrison and Bracken twice as both schools like the gate as these are huge rivalries. Many factors go into making a schedule.

Absolutely stunning performance by PC tonight. No one expected the margin of victory to be anywhere near this. Congrats to Dontaie on #3000. PC has had others contribute more and more, especially Thomas who has been tough taking it to the basket. Hope to see RC again before tourney time. Tonight was not their night, but they have a nice team with all the pieces for a wonderful season. Shout out to Coach Kelsch and the RC fans for their class in recognizing Dontaie's accomplishment.

Boys game is definitely at 6:00. Harrison and Pendleton have the boy-girl doubleheader every year. The boys sometimes play first. Title 9 I'm guessing.

Huge game for both schools. It's a seed game for the district tourney, so there is added importance that has never been in the past. PC's two losses have been on the road but I like PC in a close one.

Have seen the top four in the ratings and can not quibble at all with them. Pendleton's losses have been to # 2 and 3 on their home courts. On a neutral court in March, who knows?

Wow! I knew it had been awhile but i didn't realize it had been that long.

Congrats to Scott. The difference in this game was Scott's incredibly hot shooting in the first quarter and PC's numerous turnovers all through the night. Scott was tenacious on defense but PC's passing was quite shoddy. The worst part is that those intercepted passes led to points for Scott nearly every time. The good news is I believe that aspect of PC's game will be corrected.

PC will be quite young this season with only two seniors and three juniors on the squad. I did not have the opportunity to see the youngsters in summer ball so I have no idea how much they may have improved. If two or three of them can contribute, PC has a chance at being really good. Coach Belcher has put together a really good schedule, but I believe they will be hard pressed to match last year's 24 victories. Having said that I think they will be competitive with most everyone on the schedule. To me rebounding and defense are questionable, at least early in the year. These are the ramblings of a guy that can't coach and never could but loves high school basketball, especially my PC Wildcats. Go Cats!
