PC was led by Allen with 23 points(10/12), 6 assists and 6 rebounds, Antrobus-13 points and 10 rebounds, and Sullivan-13 points(4/6). The Cats shot 54.2% from the field(43.5% on 3 pointers). They had 19 assists and only 5 turnovers. They have a tough weekend ahead with GRC at home on Friday and Lexington Christian Saturday at Robertson County.

Dontaie Allen spent much time on the bench with foul trouble. Antrobus was a beast in the fourth quarter with some nice assists from Allen. Walsh had an all around good game as did Yelton. Monroe and Neltner hit some key shots. it was very much a team victory. I don't anticipate much talk about this being a one man team this year.

PC played their two scrimmages without the services of Grant Walsh. That made their wins over Newport and Paintsville all the more impressive. I don't know if he will be ready by Tuesday night , but it should not make a difference in the outcome. I'll go the conservative route and say the Cats by 10-15.

Got it! I knew I messed it up.

Burries from Newport and Allen from PC stood out. Yelton from PC was solid. Obviously from the score defense will be a priority for both teams in future practices, but both shot the ball really well. PC was without Walsh. Anxious to see him back on the floor.

Is your last statement meant to be controversial and spark more conversation, or is it based on past history, or is it based on returning players from last year, or is it simply your gut feeling? I'm guessing it may be based on the district tournament game from last year where admittedly PC failed to live up to expectations. I'm not positive but I believe the district tournament this year is at PC. That could factor in. PC lost only one starter and their record against HC and RC is not worrisome. Not meaning to attack you but your statement did make me chuckle.

Actually they are 2-2 in district tourney play and the same for regular season play over the last four years. A bit of a stretch to say Harrison has the Wildcats' number most of the time?

The Wildcats will be fine. I would rather they stay under the radar for now. I couldn't agree with you more about the supporting cast. Actually I hate that term(supporting cast). Scoring should be their strong point. If they can develop a legit post player the offense will be much better than last year. I'm looking forward to Nov. 28.
