The Polar Bears open up their season in Falmouth for the first time since 1975.

Pendleton County will likely be too strong for my Polar Bears. I'd say the Wildcats by 13.

Rivalry games are always close. I have a distant cousin that plays for Bracken County. PC wins by 9. Go Bears.

As much as it pains me to do so I have to say the Wildcats win this season opener. No doubt they will have the best player on the court.

I will be more than happy to be wrong this time and eat crow. Go Polar Bears.

I know it's a rivalry, but Pendleton returns the majority of their team and have the best player on the floor by a long shot. Bracken has a lot of players filling new roles. I think Pendleton wins this one by 25+.

Pendleton might win, but it will be by less than 10.

Wildcats name the score, they're better than I expected and BC won't stop Allen..

Allen has put up 37 in both scrimmages this season, but this is a rivalry game, and crazy things can happen in rivalry games.

Just not this time. Cats by 20.

Pendleton & Bracken play twice this year

11/28 @ Pendleton

2/2 @ Bracken

PC played their two scrimmages without the services of Grant Walsh. That made their wins over Newport and Paintsville all the more impressive. I don't know if he will be ready by Tuesday night , but it should not make a difference in the outcome. I'll go the conservative route and say the Cats by 10-15.

Is the Appleman boy playing and has Travis Tucker returned yet from a baseball injury?

Appleman is not playing and Tucker is healthy. Bracken County has 4 kids over 6’4 in their rotation right now. Can’t handle or score well right now but they can sure as hell rebound the ball

Agreed. Bracken's best offense right now may well be "toss it up and go get it."
