Didn’t wanna play. Oh well it is what it is

He does a good job on football team. Also thought he did good job on the Bracken basketball JV team last season.

I think they will be fine

Wait?? Didn't that Appleman kid transfer from Pendleton to Bracken because of basketball...AND NOW HE'S NOT PLAYING?? Sounds intriguing.

it sure does, doesn't it?

I wouldn’t read to much into Appleman not playing. He got a scholarship to play football and that may of had some bearing on his decision. Possibly one of the stipulations of the scholarship:idunno: may not wanna risk injury.

Basketball wasn't the whole story, from what I understand.

Oh boy here we go I’m jumping off the train before it goes off the tracks.

Listen to the game at BCSC

Follow on twitter @brackencounty where I will be tweeting. Hopefully someone can copy and paste the tweets on the BGP update thread because it’s hard to tweet, do the radio, and keep stats at the same time.

I meant nothing incendiary. I just meant to say that it was wrong to say he only transferred for basketball reasons.

Wasn't it mainly over basketball reasons?

Regardless of why he transferred...don't you find it funny that's this is exactly what Appleman's dad wanted...for his son to be talked about. For example, this thread is about Pendleton - Bracken and Appleman isn't even on the team anymore and people are still discussing it! The dad must be a genius.

I know this is a basketball thread, but Appleman's decision not to play is interesting. He was way more than a JV contributor and actually started several games and was definitely in the 7 man varsity rotation last year. He is indeed an excellant football player and I had not heard he had been offered. Can someone share specifics? He was an intelligent basketball player with a lot of court awareness. I had expected him to be the PG.

That’s How it appears for the iPhone. I’ll just check Twitter periodically until I can download yet another app to listen to games.
