Ashland has Drew McDavid and Fields Davis who both made all state coming back. We also have Lacey Snodgrass and Luke Bonner returning. Both of them made all area.

I thought St. X would win, but I didn't know it would be a 50 point victory. I doubt they will be stopped in the championship.

How did Rockastle's QB do this game?

I was at this game and I had two problems. One is the call by Russell on the 1 yard line and the decision to go for the two point conversion. They shouldn't have done a roll out pass, they should have pounded it in for the TD. Another is the penalties. They had about 65 yards worth of penalties and that could have ended up killing them. Another thing that could have killed Russell was the fumble by Brown on the 1 yard line after a huge run. If you think about it, it could have been 35 - 0 at the half instead of 20 - 0, and the game would have been pretty much out of reach for Belfry. Congrats to Russell on the win and lets hope they can finish it up at Papa John's Stadium!!

Ashland has a great weight lifting program. We have an advanced conditioning program and students can take that as a PE class. Ashland also has a good off season lifting program. They meet 3 times a week during the summer. They are putting that huge weight room to good use.

I disagree with you on your prediction about St.X I think that they should be able to pull out a win by at least 14 points.

Ashland's Fields Davis. He is one of the strongest players on Ashland and a great tackler. He is one of the best if not the best linebackers in the region.
