  1. It wasn't said on here but I've heard this opinion from several people at CCH.
  2. Considering the fact that CovCath won the first meeting wouldn't that make them the favorite?
  3. No one is saying that... There was a comment about Sorrell being the Colonels loss and the Indians gain, and like always the CCH faithful had to act like Corey wasn't good enough to play for CCH anyways just like Romes wasn't good enough.
  4. This seems to be a common feeling, yet I dont understand why? Did HC not beat Highlands, while CCH lost to them during the regular season?
  5. Only two field goals, well I guess HC didn't have anyone who could stay with him then. Period.
  6. Well if Scott scored 42 and Howard scored 40, who scored the other 2. I'm guessing it was Nate Sharp because we didnt have anyone to stay with him either. (am i right Tiger?)
  7. LOL I love how before every game all you hear about is how whatever big guy that's playing against HC is going to dominate.
  8. He was pretty much a non-factor. He continually caught the ball 5-10 feet away from the basket and would then travel, pass, or miss a tough shot.
  9. I didn't say he's not allowed to make a turnover, but I was simply replying to ur statement that had he had the ball in his hands they would have been better off, and no matter how good Vories is and how hard he worked last night that pass was stupid. I'm sure he knows it, HC knows it, and Willie knows it; whenever u throw a pass without even looking to the other team it's not a good decision.
  10. I agree BigStud.... The refs may have been bad but they were definitely bad for both teams. I don't know how anyone can say Holy Cross got away with more fouls when Scruggs fouled out and Wil Eifert had 4. Another thing I noticed about this Highlands team is they are a much better team offensively when Vories plays the 2 guard instead of the point.
  11. Forgive me if I'm wrong but wasn't it Vories who had the most costly turnover in the game at the end when HC double teamed him and he threw the ball without looking directly to Dane Lantry?
  12. Mayo is much more polished and ready for basketball at the next levels.
  13. C'mon now... they had to get past St. Pat's in the finals!
  14. Their guard's?!!!! Holy Cross has probably the deepest group of guards in the region. This is the same team that held Todd Jacobs to five points.
  15. No, I don't think they did, which was what I thought we might see sometime during the night. I don't know I never played any in my day!
  16. Romes had a good night. I'm not sure how many he had, but his rebounding was very impressive as many points came off of stick-ins. Several reverse layups and nice moves around the basket. Paul Laible guarded him a lot and played great on the ball defense. Romes really had to work on the boards or run the floor to get most of his points.
  17. Had you seen HC play before that prediction??!!
  18. LOL... Holmes not liking physical basketball?!!! That's honestly the first time I've ever heard anyone say that!
  19. Todd would have a tough time scoring if Brett was on him however. The only thing TJ has over Brett is an outside shot.
  20. The only thing I've ever heard is it's almost impossible to beat a good team 3 times in the same season.
