The Neers of Simon Kenton won the JV Championship beating Boone County 52-40.

No clue. I would think they would play in the 8th region JV and Frosh tournaments.

SK JV is in the 9th region tournament. They are 14-1 an play New Cath in the JV tournament this week.

If they force him to his right, he will not have a night.

Like I said he is playing sub par teams. The only team they have played so far is Scott an he did not do much until JV came in. That is when he put up the numbers. I would like to see him against quality guards more often than once a month. Wiseman is a good player. He is a good shooter.

Pelle is playing against sub-par players. If some of the guards played SG schedule they would probably have the same numbers. I like the kid but, I would have to see him play against BETTER players before I will put him up with the likes of the top guards. If you look at head to head sharp out played him. The only reason Pelle scored his points was when Scott called off the dogs and the coach left Pelle in to get his points. He did not come out of the game at the end when they were down by 25.

Profitt and Knowles are two different styles. Profitt likes to use his strength and Knowles can do what ever he wants. IMO Knowles is better suited for the college level. If Kentucky is not looking at him they should. He is a very gifted player.

I'm just saying if the guards can not do their job why not try somebody else.

That's my point. Elbert is a forward and since the guards are struggling he has to do it ALL. If the guards can NOT do their job try some one else to see IF they can do the job.

I agree we need to try other guards if the ones in their can not get the job done. If you can not shoot the ball from outside then get somebody in their that can. It will open up the middle for El an Hurd. We miss to many easy lay ups because are guards can not dribble with their head up to see them down the court open.

If I recall you lost the guard who was on him (Hester) to graduation and you also lost Slaughter who scored more than 25% of your points. Hurd had no problems last year playing against Chambers and all Wade did was goaltend.

What did he do against Scott? If I recall he had 6pts after 3qtrs and had another 12pts in the fourth quarter when the JV team was playing. Don't get me wrong he is a very nice player but I would like to see what he could do playing against quality teams.

Also Bishop Brossart is way to low. I watched them down at the 5/3rd tournament and they are a lot better than 20th.

Mike is a great player but SK has not lost a game with Mike being out. They have the deepest bench in NKY. All I can say is what quality team has Boone played and won? They will be lucky to win 1 game in the next 4 games. IMO

I understand Bray but what has McFarland done? At this stage of his career he has not impressed me.

Boone has NO ONE to stop Hurd!!!

Josh started for the N Ky Royals this year, which came in third at the AAU State Tournament.

Josh Hurd will eat him ALIVE!! The only thing that Luke has is size and that will not even help him going against Josh.

With or without players IMO nobody can match up with SK. 1) SK 2) Brossart 3) Holmes 4) Cov Cath 5) Holy Cross/Scott (took SK to the wire)

The only other team would be Holy Cross.

I think they are now the best team (SK) in the area.

IMO, SK is probably going to start with this line up: Mike Hester PG 5'8" Eic Hopkins SG 5'9" Seth Blevins SF 6'3" Josh Elbert PF 6'4" Josh Hurd C 6'8" They lost to Shelby County in the 10th region championship last year.

IMO Bishop Brossart should be in with GRC and Mason.
