Should the #1 player in your region, still be #1?

I'm not trying to cause trouble in any form, or take any spotlight off a certain player from any region, but are Cats' Pause, LHL, and the CJ's top players from each region underachieving?

 

Even though it is early in the season, has your opinion changed on who is the top player in your region? For example, the 12th Region:

 

Lexington-Herald Leader:

1. John Perkins (PC) (Senior)

2. Aaron Watts (MC) (Freshmen)

 

Cats' Pause:

1. John Perkins (PC)

2. Aaron Watts (MC)

 

CJ's:

1. Aaron Watts (MC)

It's hard to say they are underachieving if they are having double doubles.

In the 9th, most would agree that Austin Hill is still the best player and will remain that way for the rest of the year. He dropped 35 against the 3rd best team in the area.

Not too early in the 10th. Darius Miller listed #1, and will remain there all season. NO ONE in the region can defend him.

I think Perkins poured in close to 35 on Tuesday, and hit about a forty-footer at the buzzer to beat Casey by one....

He scored 31 in the win over Casey Co. You are also, correct, in that he hit a 35-40 footer at the buzzer to give the Maroons the win.

No offense, but i think this thread is pointless because "pre-season" rankings mean nothing once the season starts!
