I am curious who is the favorite and when is the JV regional tournament?

I think Cov Cath and St. Henry have nice teams. Boone's JV is 13-4 on the season.

CovCath's JV was knocked out the 9th region tournament Saturday, but I can not recall who they played. They had won it quite a few years in a row ( I believe 5 before that).

I believe Boone is in the semifinals this Saturday, but I don't know who they play. They defeated Newport in the previous round.

The Highlands JV team should do very well in the Freshman tourney this week-end!

SK JV is in the 9th region tournament. They are 14-1 an play New Cath in the JV tournament this week.

I believe it was St Henry who has a strong JV team.

3 of Boone's 4 losses were to Scott, Cov Cath, and St. Henry. SK's only loss was by 1 point to Boone.

 

None of Boone's losses have come with their full JV squad there and healthy.

 

Boone plays Beechwood this Wednesday in the quarterfinals and will be missing at least one player due to injury. Kids have also been getting sick lately (as I'm sure other teams are experiencing as well).

 

St. Henry is one of the better JV teams. They are tall and athletic and tenacious rebounders. I would say St. Henry, SK, and Boone all have good shots.

CCH 1st won the JV tournament in 2004, when they swept all 3 levels. I'm not 100% sure how many they won in a row, but I do know that it was not 5.

Now tell me why they are in the 9th region for JV and Frosh?

 

No clue. I would think they would play in the 8th region JV and Frosh tournaments.
