If they weren't warned, it would have been the coaches fault. Guidelines that StatmanHensley quoted were laid out in the handouts each staff received. Surely a player wouldn't expect a state finals tourney would have been played out like a mere game.

I guess I'm in the minority on this one. I thought is was an awesome atmoshpere all around. You felt like it was something special with all the great music, video clips, and the promo gags. Ask any player that participated and I would wager that they thought it was a nice atmosphere to compete in. I hope it always stays at Applebee's. IMO

Yeah, I think he had a pretty nice game against the dawgs. He doesn't have any quit in him. He's a very nice back IMO.

Joey White for Boyd Co. should have a big year. He was playing behind Sargent last year and not getting a lot of touches. He runs hard and smart. I look for a big year from him.

Greenup has a lot of underclassmen coming back. They should be right there.

What about the other 3 batters he walked in the sixth? Bad calls there too? I've stated also that the calling was lacking across the board, but to be fair the pitcher was throwing a lot of balls also. I hope people reading this thread don't get the impression that Raceland is crying sour grapes, just because a few people can't get passed some questionable calls. Your Rams deserve more credit than that. Kudo's to the staff and players at Raceland. You're future looks bright to me. Like another poster has already stated: Bad calls are apart of the game.

How Payton Martin didn't get put on the all-tourney team is beyond me. He had 7 hits for the tourney, most of them in key situations. He played awesome 2nd base with a few spectacular plays. On the topic of officiating, I watched every game of the tourney and IMO not one consistent game was called from behind the dish. Congratulations Boyd Co.! Bring the title HOME!
