Here's my take: I think the quality of high school officiating overall has fell away in the past few years. With gas being close to 3 bucks a gallon, it's hardly worth a persons time and energy to take it on. I know several guys that are considering scaling back games next year in baseball/basketball that require more miles to travel and try to get games closer to home. KHSAA needs to look at the need for some pay increase.

Any truth to the rumor that Owens is setting out Friday? It could be a long night if he's not playing. :cry:
