It's really somewhat hard to say. A lot of the true blue studs in the state dont pitch many games in the regular season so that school dont have many good looks at them come tournament time. Also there is a kid for Trinity, don't know his name who is 5-0 with a 0.00 ERA in 36 innings. Not sure if he's the best but his stats are fairly impressive. I'd have to throw out Chris Curley though he's pretty much always very effective.

How is Tilford from Heath doing? He was a a pre season All American right?

Both are great pitchers, but i think that curley is a better pitcher due to experience and his ability to get out of any situation.

Yeah, the Trinity kid that I was talking about's stats come from the stat site that we use. It ranks the high school teams and players stats in the state that use the site for stat input and figuring and such.

 

His name is Braxton Graven, He is 5-0 with a 0.00 ERA, with 36.00 Innings pitched. He has given up 10 hits, 2 runs none of which were earned. He has walked 15 batters and has recorded 50 K's.

 

His wins as posted on the site are against Owensboro High( 17 K game), Ryle, Shawnee High, Henry County, Lexington Catholic. and St. X.... If these stats are true and accurate, which I would assume they probably are... this kid appears to be a stud.

I was under the impression that Chas Moore was the #1 at Beechwood? I know Curley is a fine pitcher, but thought his future is more at 3rd? Mutsch is all pitcher, and a fine one with a great upside!!
