Kyle Frimming should be mentioned as one of the top pitchers in the state. He is very smoothe on the mound and has a really good curveball. Brossart has 3 or 4 pitchers that are very good. Mutsch,Frimming, and Uebel, with the addition of Simon are one of the best rotations in the area.

Justin Potter from Russell is someone you have to consider if you are talking about the best pitchers in the state. Russell baseball program has not been the best over the year's but this year Potter has lead the Devils to 20 win season the first since i can remember and potentional shot at possibly dethroaning Boyd County as the 16 region champs. The kid has battled through alot and has never gotten all the credit he has deserved.

Justin Marks from Owensboro Catholic High School, was rated the #1 baseball player in the state of Kentucky by Baseball America. He has 97 strikeouts to only 14 walks. He has to be in the running for the best pitcher in the state.

Marks and Heath's Clint Tilford are the two best pitchers in the west ...

Chris Stamper has to be one of the top contenders for best pitcher in the state he plays for wolfe co. and has a very good shot of going big in baseball
