Its very exciting and I haven't been this excited about Mayfield football in quite a while. These next 2-3 years are gonna be so much fun to watch, at least I think so.

Well, for starters, Mayfield has to come up with someone in the QB position, anybody know anything about what is going on at Mayfield with the QB replacement?

You are right, I just looked at the KHSAA's enrollment report for them, I was basing my facts off what I have been told, even still, they should be able to produce a better football team with the right coach in place.

Thats a good question, I have wondered why Ballard can't produce a good team year in and year out. Occasionally they have some really outstanding players but not year in and out. But I have been told that Ballard is one of the biggest 1A schools in the state and that is why I question them. But I don't know much more than anybody else but my thinking is if they got the right coach in there he could turn it around and really make something out of that school.

I still think that fan support is dwindling in Ky as much as I hate to admit it. I know that Mayfield, Danville and Paducah Tilghman's fan support has dwindled over the years, it may be up in the more urban areas but it is seeming that in the rural places attendance is way down compared to past years.

I don't know, if Danville keeps turning it over, could be bad for the Ads.

Looks like we have a game now, I was thinking NCC was going to run away with this one as well as Harris has been passing.

What about Frankfort? They gave Danville a good run this year. What are they returning next year?

I will say that if NCC is as good as they were last year this will be a good game but if they aren't the team they were last year Danville will win this one, but I don't think it will be a big lead win. Danville 28 NCC 21

Congrats on the win AD's, you just flat outplayed us. Your O-Line reminded me of the tough line we saw against Graves and we were shut out in that one as well, at least we were mistake free in this one!! Good job seniors, you gave it your all and exceeded all our expectations. I think if Danville plays like this again at the state finals they can't be stopped! Go on to state and make us proud ADs!!

I drove by MHS practice field this morning and those boys looked ready to play, I didn't get to stop so could anybody fill me in on how the practice went. I can't wait till tomorrow night, see you guys there!!

I wish the Admiral team thought like this guy but I know better. Their coach knows all too well the history of these two teams and will have them prepared. This game won't be won by more than 2 TD's either way.

Wow, I was hearing the opposite that gametime was 7 and Metcalfe was Eastern Time zone, they do line up with Louisville, but the zone could wrap around Metcalfe county.

Humm, I had a Metcalfe fan say the QB was accurate, that is only 33%. Adam Shelton was 88% (14 of 16) against Murray Friday night. Sounds like if Mayfield can stop this RB the game could be in the bag.

That was quite a play, quite gutsy of Adam, he definitely doesn't mind taking a hit.

I guess McNutt has problems with a cold ball, his kickoffs for the most part were in the endzone, although still not quite on the money as throughout the year. I hope he is at home outside kicking that ball everyday, this week should be nice and cold for him, lol.

Yep, gonna be getting out the ol maps this week. I think I am taking the ol hwy 80 route so I can go thru Russellville on my way, I think it will be faster anyways. Can't wait to see Metcalfe's stadium, haven't ever been.

Yeah, I was looking at the ol Map of Ky and there isn't a very good way to get there from Mayfield!!! Looks like the best route is to go hwy 80 thru the lakes over thru BG and Russellville.
