Russellville versus Metcalfe County

Featured Replies

Who wins this one and why...I have not seen either team so looking for some info on these two teams.

Personally I hope that Russellville wins...just for this simple fact that if Mayfield wins this Friday that I would much rather have Russellville come to War Memorial Stadium than to drive the four hours to Metcalfe County.

Russellville 21-15.

Yeah, I was looking at the ol Map of Ky and there isn't a very good way to get there from Mayfield!!! Looks like the best route is to go hwy 80 thru the lakes over thru BG and Russellville.

I would say the Metcalfe County people would be happy to have Mayfield come to them after making the trip to the Purchase twice in the last three years. But whether Mayfield (I'm already predicting a win over Murray; hopefully they won't make it 1997 all over again) hosts Russellville or plays at Metcalfe, they should still be playing on Thanksgiving weekend.

Metcalfe at home will be a little much for Coach Myers and Co...MC 28 R 14

Metcalfe already whipped them once this year, so i dont see Russellville pulling it out.......But i played under Coach Myers at Mayfield and i will be pulling for him and his squad......not to mention if R-ville wins then mayfield gets another home game!!!!!!!!!!!
