  1. Even though it's a home game for Corbin, look for most of the house to be wearing red and black. South too much for the hounds in this one. SL by 10+

  3. Pendleton is over rated, ask south's student section they were all chanting that too. Pendleton is maby a 9 or a 10 but they could move up if they make it to the sweet 16. Don't get me wrong they could very well make it to the big dance come march but they have two very good teams nipping at their heals.
  4. I like this list, South didn't win state last year by being ranked in the top ten. I wish they wouldn't even rank them in the top 25.
  5. Lifting during the season is great. It not only strengthen and tones muscles, but it help's with the wear and tear that players encounter during all the practices and games.
  6. A lot of new face's and a few fimiliar one's for the cards this year. How does everyone think that South will do considering all the holes that must be filled? South graduates 14 starters from the team. Personally I think that south will be alright but not the same caliber that the cards were last year. Then again I could be wrong. What is everyone's thought's on the 2006 season.
  7. lol, Maby if God came down from heaven, the earth started to shake, and I won the lottery. Then corbin could MABY...(big maby)..win but I don't look to see any of that happining soon, neither do I see Corbin beating South in the near future. I'd take south's bench over corbin's starters
  8. South Laurel has a program for the middle school kids. 6th, 7th and 8th graders come to the sessions 2 times a week in the off-season, usually Tuesday and Thursday. They first learn proper technique then test. After about a week or two they start fully getting into the program. South High School has a class that the football players must attend but is open to all students. This is called a Zero Hour class and begins in the morning at 6:45. Having it in the morning cuts it out after school so it gives more time for practice during the season and athletes that play other sports like baseball, basketball, softball, volley ball, ect. can play their sports but not miss out on lifting.
  9. Ledford is South's middle linebacker, there is no way that he will ever be on the d-line.
  10. How do you put Pendleton County 4th when they were defeated by 18 by South Laurel and not put Scott County in the top 5?
  11. I'd say that most of that 5,000 will be from London.
  12. That's because Southwestern fan's don't have any respect for South Laurel, State Champions or not.
  13. Jef Ledford, all district. Not the biggest guy but he gives running backs fits. Very sharp individual and is always in the right place at the right time.
  14. I didn't know it was a tournament. Who's all in it?
  15. Anyone can be beat on any given night.
  16. I can't wait to see them when they square off against South Laurel.
  17. That was a scary one! Great job cards coming from behind to win. It sounded like on the radio that we weren’t playing that great. Maybe just one of those off nights I guess. South will play better in the next meeting between the two. GREAT WIN CARDS! WHO'S :fight: NEXT
  18. lol, I don't have practice tomorrow, I'm up all night.
  19. Les is picking South to lose this one. So I'm sayin south by 15, Les I love ya man but I don't agree with you sometimes.
  20. I'm goin with Pendleton in this one, they're running strong.
  21. Who will win the Hoopin It Up Holiday Classic-2005/6 Kentucky High School Boys Basketball tournament; there are a lot of great teams in it this year. South and North are in it this year of course but who else will make a surprising run the championship?
