Also the first game was very sloppy by both teams I thought. I look for far fewer mistakes in this one.

My two cents on going for two in the first game. Russell had a more consistant kicking game. Trading scores and depending on extra points would have been in Russell's favor. Just my opinioin.

The long snapper is one of the hardest most underappreciated jobs on the team. Russell has not had a problem with it until last night. I'm sure it will be OK.

I wish for a great, entertaining ball game and a Russell win next week.

Just saw the highlights and Jones' TD runs. The ankle looks much better. He could not have done that a couple of weeks ago.

Nice job by Estill County. They had alot of young talent last year when I watched them. I knew they would be improved this year. Good luck at Breathitt next week.

21-7 Russell at the half. It was 35-7 in the fourth when Russell botched a snap on a field goal. After that it was JV and Freshman. It sounded like Carroll was at QB for most of the game tonight. They came out in the spread. The radio crew compared it to the WVU offense. They did switch to a running set some but it didn't sound like alot.

Its possible. I think Belfry, Breathitt, Russell and Mason County all have a chance of making it to Louisville.

The radio guys said the 52 yard TD run looked like Jones was 100%. I think he only ran the ball 3 times. I don't think Abrams ran but a couple of times in the second half. I think he had about 170 yards total.

Good job by the Raceland players and coaching staff. Nice win.

Had to work so I had to listen to the game. Drew Abrams had a huge first half. East Carter is pesky as usual. Nathan Carroll is a player. For the East Carter fans. Has East been running the spread more lately or was that something of suprise for the this game?

Talent will always go up and down. Keeping the number of players up is the key to tradition. Kids comming up and wanting to play football has been a huge factor to Russell's success.
