Nice win-now get ready for LCA!:thumb:

Congrats to the Rams on the 1st round playoff victory vs. Fairview. Junior Bret Denton has both of Racelands scores on touchdown runs of approx. 20 and 29 yds. Good job by the "dentonator" and all of the Rams tonight, these Rams are a "Team" and you win as a team and you lose as a team.:ylsuper:

The Raceland "Orange Crush" defense reportedly returned to very good play and hitting in shutting out the Eagles.:flame:

Now it is on to Lexington and a rematch with a powerful L.C.A. team next week in the playoff 2nd round/district title game.:thumb:

Also, a good season for Fairview, their kids have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of.

From the way things started out in pre season and all the turmoil to which none was the kids fault to working and having a winning season.

Kudo's to the "Fairview Eagle Football Players" on makng it a good season for yourselves.

Cooksey must have focused too much on Basketball Practice or must have been ready to play some Basketball games. You know that it has to affect Football Practice that he is practicing Basketball as well.

Congrats to Raceland.

Congratulations to the Rams!! Way to take care of business.

We look forward to seeing you next week.

Great win for the Rams. Really good "D" tonight. The running game looked great tonight. Denton and Carver and Denton and Carver and the pass was there when needed also. Alot better effort this week. Team play is where its at. Great to see a shut out. Let get it going Friday for a real big win at LCA. We can do it.

Rams played extremely well defensively tonight. They were physical and swarmed the ball. Raceland had a chance to punch one in at the 9 with 2:00 to go, and again Coach Hoof showed great class and sportsmanship taking a knee. The Rams played very disiplined football tonight. 1-0!!!! Now it is time to focus on LCA. Great job this week at practice getting ready for the playoff run by the coaches and players. The Rams responded to big time adversity and that is the makings of a team that can go deep into November/early December. Keep working hard! Now let's go grab our 2nd District Title in row in Lexington next Friday!! Coach Cooksey and Fairview players had a nice season with alot of controversy, and the players perserved and bounced back into the playoff this season. The Fairview players should be proud of their season and know that they will be better in life for enduring under the worse and best of times. Go Rams beat LCA!!!

Good post....:ylsuper::flame::ylsuper::flame::thumb:

Rams are a diferent team than week 3. Too much Denton and Carver. They controlled the ground game and flat out laid some licks defensively. It is hard to stop them, because if you put too much focus on one of them then the other one burns you. They run physical and downhill a great combination in the backfield! Fairview had trouble with the duo all night long.

Good post....:ylsuper::flame::ylsuper::flame::thumb:

Agreed,...except for the "Beat LCA" part.

Great win for the Rams! Congrats to all the players and coaches on a hard fought victory. As everyone has said, Denton and Carver were the difference tonight. Also a nice defensive effort by the Rams. Good luck next week guys.

Good job by the Raceland players and coaching staff. Nice win.
