As of right now, it does look as though they’ve got more shooters and better offensive balance. However, I’m not sure how great they will be on defense yet again. Even if they are just a little bit better defensively than last year with a better offensive flow, that would be a pretty solid improvement.

I think it’s going to have to happen, there will be a collegiate level salary cap. Perfect example of how crazy it’s gotten is the NBA draft. This year anyone outside of the first round was making less than 3 million. Now you’ve got guy leaving the draft, going back to college and making 5 or 6, maybe even $7million a year. It’s nice that guys don’t have to make the NBA jump just to support themselves and their family’s but these numbers probably aren’t sustainable.

Until I see someone do it. I think they will miss Owen a lot this season, for that very reason.

That would certainly look like a formidable back court on paper. One of the best UC has had in a while.

I mean they were allegedly prepared to pay Tyran Stokes 6 million. I couldn't imagine that wouldn't equate to at least 3-4 million for Moreno. Maybe even 6 million since Stokes didn't take the offer.

Half way thru her first season I said her assist numbers were well below what they should have been due to the inability of her teammates to finish plays that Clark was creating for them. Clark makes everyone on her team better on offense which is why she is fun to watch.

Unless he is picked in the lottery, chances are he makes more per year at UK this season. Pope and staff said that Moreno was their biggest priority this off-season. $$$$

Reds have talent. They just need to be willing to make the changes necessary to get them over the hump. I think Francona will if he is allowed to.

Where are their games televised right now? I haven't watched one yet this season but I typically stumble upon a few of them during the summer. Just haven't had the chance to yet. Just my opinion, but any game Caitlin Clark is in, is usually fun to watch. She's makes everyone around her better and I think after a few years in the WNBA her teammates are starting to understand her abilities more and are upping their games/better prepared for the type of plays she can create.

At this point, it's like the Reds keep finding ways not to win.

They were reporting that would likely be the case last week. I believe they said he will likely start at LSU.

NBA draft withdrawal deadline isn't until May 27th. My guess is they're absolutely going to try make a push for 1 or 2 players that decide to pull out of the draft. And he really needs for 1 or 2 of them to say yes to his offer.

Really don't care about the Stokes stuff. I'm just glad I won't have to hear about it anymore. Pope needs to find a couple more solid players for next season and keep moving forward.

That's a very impressive step in the right direction. I know they still have a long ways to go until games are played. But things certainly seem to be trending in the right direction so far.

I have said for a while that he is likely not worth the headache. Sure, I would like to have him, but if he is causing problems with landing other players like national reporters have speculated. Then, yeah, just move on and land some proven college players.

Stokes or Pope?

If Tyran Stokes is at all part of the reason Kentucky does not have a portal transfer yet, it could end up costing Pope his job.

And canceled his Indiana visit.

Sound system also plays a part. My sound bar and subwoofer, both do a pretty good job when I want them to.
