The reactions by people on X (twitter) were just dumb. So many people calling out the Israeli security forces for keeping a gun on the guy vs grabbing a fire extinguisher. You can tell those folks never dealt with suicide bombers.

He still had 4 blocks. He doesn't have to be great on defense for him to be serviceable. His foot work and strength could really improve with another year at UK but I'm not sure that's in the cards for him.

Article I read earlier about players opting in or out or negotiating for more money. Every single player in the article said they had already opted in and didn't really care about the money. One player said he was just hoping to get a copy of the game. Everyone said having their name in the game vs just being a number, was priceless and expressed having hoped to be in a game like this since they were little kids.

Agreed, if you wait until 8 seconds or less then Kentucky is potentially getting the ball back with 4-5 seconds left after free throws and no timeouts remaining. AND if LSU makes both of their free throws they are up 3 and can force UK to rush a shot by acting like they're going to foul, or actually foul and send them to the line for a shot at only 2 points.

Just went back and looked at the game stats. Not blaming him for the loss at all but I'd say it impacted the game. Reeves finished with 25 points to head all scorers for UK but did not hit a field goal the rest of the game after the 19:11 mark in the second half.

Agreed. Miss and you've got a chance to foul and get another shot at the basket, especially with the way LSU was missing free throws.

They're already 5, now probably a 6. Lose to Tennessee and Alabama and they're sitting around an 8 or 9 going into the SEC tournament. Only way they move up from there is by playing in the SEC tournament championship.

Kentucky deserved to lose that game for multiple reasons. Wagner needs to sit until he's healthy. I know Calipari is trying to shorten the rotation but Wagner shouldn't be a part of it right now.
