That's basically where I'm at as well. Chambliss story is awesome, from D2 last year to leading his team deep into the college football playoffs this year. He seems like a class act from what little I've seen, repeatedly thanking Ole Miss and the people of Oxford for giving him the opportunity.

No, I don't see it as an issue. You should catch flack for transferring. That's part of college sports.

I disagree and I think that's the only logical solution. Move the transfer portal to February or March. Guys do not have to be on campus at their next program for spring practice. They can finish out the spring semester and then transfer. They can go ahead and decided where they are going in February or March. Programs will be just fine with them arriving in May.

AND Alabama beat Oklahoma to get to this game against Indiana. It's not like Bama got picked and then laid an egg in their first game.

I feel like Indiana, for the most part, is less NIL and more about acquiring guys from the transfer portal that really fit. I could be wrong but I don't think Indiana is killing it with its NIL bank roll. I could see some donors/NIL folks wanting to throw money at the program after this season though.

Miami did a good job of weathering the storm. They did just enough to maintain control in the second half and essentially got a chance to end the game with the ball in their hands.
