After the good reviews he received from the NBA camp, what direction does he take.  This has to be a tough decision, stay at UK or join the NBA?

I totally understand if he decides to stay in the Draft and will wish him well. But, it has to be tempting to come back to school for one more year making around the same or possibly more in college, and potentially becoming a Kentucky legend as well as upping your draft stock to the lottery if you have a good sophomore season at Kentucky.

In the past I would say jump to the NBA and cash the checks.  But with the changing landscape I think I would stay one more year, rake in that college cash, and make even more in next years NBA draft.

This! As you can make probably close to the same amount of money by coming back, while also getting to play a lot of minutes. Most likely if he goes to the NBA he will be getting paid, but not playing to much early on.

These things can change, but by most indicators, next year's draft is incredibly weaker than this year's. So, there is a strategy at play.

I'm not sure how much money we are talking about to stay in college. But, if you know that you will be a first-round pick, I generally think the play is to go the NBA route. This year's last pick in the NBA draft (first round) is guaranteed $5.5M over two years. More than double that if the team picks up team options thereafter.

Unless he is picked in the lottery, chances are he makes more per year at UK this season. Pope and staff said that Moreno was their biggest priority this off-season. $$$$

I agree. I would be very surprised if he makes less than $3 Million this upcoming season at Kentucky. Just a guess on my part, but with how big of a priority he was and seeing what some of the others on the roster are reportedly making, it has to be at least 3 million.

I mean they were allegedly prepared to pay Tyran Stokes 6 million. I couldn't imagine that wouldn't equate to at least 3-4 million for Moreno. Maybe even 6 million since Stokes didn't take the offer.

I'm not saying this will or won't happen, but it's a crazy thought.  Matter of fact, it's sickening.
