The Trinity fans probably like the refs now.

The poll results have it 18-2 in favor of Covington Catholic. I didn't think it would be that lopsided. I will be an outlier and make it 18-3.

Would it be out of line to send the offending school a bill if the glass is broken during warmups?

I'm not 100% sure what Trinity's game is at this point. I'm sure Coach Szabo does not think it is a good idea to fall behind as much as they do and then try to rally late.

Can't wait for the Jefferson County publics to get started. I suppose schedules may have to be adjusted somewhat.

I think T might be better than last year but is no powerhouse. Congrats to Coach Klein and the Tigers. X is putting together a pretty good resume.

Paging through the scores this morning and seeing no Jefferson County public school scores got me to thinking. Is JCPS the only school district in the state not allowing its schools to play?

Even with 2 OT's that's a lot of points for Trinity to score.

To Walter and all the UC fans---------it is fun when your team is on the uptick and things just seem to be getting better and better. I envy you. Enjoy it.

To me the big picture is that HHS should be glad the problem came to light now rather than 2-3 years down the road. Few people will remember this episode once the new coach is in place. It's not that big of deal in the whole scheme of things.

One thing is for sure------Trinity was able to learn about Cobb the man and Cobb the coach over the last 4-5 years.

Yes, and I hope Oscar Brohm continues as (full- or part-time) QB coach. I am not an insider but I really feel that he has helped Trinity develop good QB's. ( He had pretty good success with two of his sons.)

I checked the KHSAA stats and for this game South Laurel went `12-18 on 3's for 66.7% and 12-19 on 2's. for 63.2%.

Anyone know how many 3's South Laurel hit in the first half.......seemed like about 10.

Just guessing.......but I don't think Trinity will hire anyone who has not been a head coach at the high school level.
