Catholic beat DC who Beat OHS who beat Catholic who loss to Apollo. I can't figure this out, but I don't think their is a clear #1 or #4 in the city.

Saw both teams play their Border Bowl games. Mater Dei is WAY down this year and Reitz deserves to be #2 in 4-A in Indiana. They are that good. This game will go down to the wire. Whoever has the ball last may win.

This Reitz team was very good. They had very athletic corners and safeties. Very nice DE #38 that will play at Indiana State or E. Illinois. As for Catholic they had 3 opportunities to score with 3 TDs dropped in endzone. Reitz had a short field a lot. Catholic D gave up a TD in second half late. They could of had a 2nd half shutout. If Catholic can get some things fixed they will be fine rest of season. Reitz would of given BG a run if not beat BG

Should be an interesting matchup now that OC has 2 OL back from injuries and a LB back from previous year ejection. Reitz definetley has the edge with the size and speed. However, the game is played in Owensboro. If OC can protect Warren and get Von loose on offense. The good thing about Reitz is their strength is OC strength on D, up front. Catholic front 7 is good. Secondary has a lot to prove this week. Good thing for OC is Reitz does not throw the ball alot.

Let's see.... IF you were playing a rival and you get on them pretty quickly 34-0. You have an opportunity to speed up the game? Absolutely. Now it's 41-0 and clock is already running? NO.

Does everyone know Nick Blair had 6 carries for 97 yards and a TD for OC. I think OC has two RB's. Blair also had 12 tackles. Catholic finished with 150 yards rushing with two OL out due to injury and a LB out to serve a suspension for ejection of Mayfield game.

Catholic was missing an OL Jayden Hall and starting LB Sterling Hardesty.

Here is some food for thought. You are not allowed to practice or have a 7 on 7 tournament after 104. Yet, travel baseball leagues have tournaments ALL DAY and they play when the heat index is over 111. That's something to think about.
