  1. Had I been the Colts I would have challenged the onside kick recovery. On the replay it appeared that the Saints player who initially had it lost it between his feet and the Colts recovered it. It would have been worth a challenge. I am a Dallas fan, so it didn't matter to me, but I think Payton outcoached his opponent.
  2. I say fire Wade Phillips before practice on Monday! I don't know for sure who is worse, Wade Phillips, Marvin Lewis or Norv Turner. In my opinion they are all terrible!
  3. Logan Dailey of Harrison County, a Junior will be tough.
  4. He is obviously not the typical "America's Team" fan. He is giving the Cowboys a bad name by wearing a Dallas shirt. Rumor has it that Pitino supplied all the liquor so he would get caught and take some of the heat away from Ricky P. Billy G and Ricky P are both LOSERS!
  5. So what is Coach Wood doing now? He did a nice job as Coach of the Engineers.
  6. Prayers to his family and friends from the Hilltop in Harrison County.
  7. Harrison and Trinity should have played on Friday, the Semi's on Saturday and the Championship on Sunday. No team in the State Tournament whether it be Harrison County or Trinity should have had to play 2 games in one day.
  8. He may have been the best coach in the State looking for a job. He has quite a ways to go to be considered even among the best coaches in the state. They have been strong for years. This could be another case of Tubby Smith winning with Rick Pitino's players. Did Tubby ever win again?
  9. Time will tell if he lasts and how the Harrison County line-up will shake out.
  10. Lexington Catholic came out and dominated the Thorobreds from start to finish. Harrison County made some costly baserunning mistakes in the top of the 1st inning and it was all down hill after that. Lex Cath hit every pitcher that Harrison put on the mound tonight. Unless they totally overlook Owensboro they should be State Champs again. I'm not sure if the noon game against Trinity took it out of the Breds or what, but it was a disappointing finish to a great season for the Thorobreds. Best of luck to the 4 Thorobred Seniors, Eric Case, Bobby Feeback, Taylor Hill and Dustin Sellers. It's been fun watching you play.
  11. Rueff did pitch very well. Thoughts and Prayers to Littrell and his family. Hats off to Logan Dailey for pitching a complete game shut-out and coming up really big when he had to. An outstanding game to watch. Small ball can win big games. I am very happy for Matthew Dye of Harrison County who had to sit this one out because of a terrible call in the Semi-State by the homeplate umpire and the KHSAA and Julian Tackett for not having the backbone to make things right on the call. Good luck to Thorobreds! Win it all inspite of the Men in Blue and the KHSAA.
  12. Maybe it's not the hats fault!
  13. Harrison County has been involved in rain delays all Tournament long.
  14. After 2 innings it is 0-0 and as of 11:30 p.m. It is suspended until noon on Friday.
  15. From South Take I-75 exit 126. Turn left off ramp. Turn left at Wendy's / K-Mart intersections. Turn right on 1962 west. Follow signs to Bengals Training camp. Baseball field is to the left of the football field.
  16. Wow! Owensboro is on a roll at the right time. I sure didn't see this one coming.
  17. I would think with the forecast that they would move everything back 1 day. Play 4 games Friday, 2 on Saturday and 1 on Sunday. That is unless there is something scheduled at Applebee's Park. If so, they could also move some games to Cliff Hagen Stadium as a possibility. These are just my opinion of course nothing official.
  18. That should help Harrison County as every game in the 10th Region Tournament had rain delays! :thumb:
  19. Lawrence County South Laurel Lexington Catholic Harrison County Lawrence County Harrison County Harrison County 11 runs Picking with my heart.
  20. Not much to say on this one. Trinity owns a 4-0 win over the Breds and unless there is an overturn in the disqualification of the Harrison County player the Breds will be shorthanded as well. I think Harrison will put forth a great effort as always, but the odds are leaning in Trinity's favor. Trinity should win this one, but never count the Thorobreds out. Good luck to the Thorobreds!
  21. I think some of the seats behind home plate and the netting are reserved seats, but most of the seating is general admission.
  22. I guess you could say they "ROLLED OVER" Elizabethtown from what the game updates said.
