Harrison County has been involved in rain delays all Tournament long.

After 2 innings it is 0-0 and as of 11:30 p.m. It is suspended until noon on Friday.

From South Take I-75 exit 126. Turn left off ramp. Turn left at Wendy's / K-Mart intersections. Turn right on 1962 west. Follow signs to Bengals Training camp. Baseball field is to the left of the football field.

Wow! Owensboro is on a roll at the right time. I sure didn't see this one coming.

I would think with the forecast that they would move everything back 1 day. Play 4 games Friday, 2 on Saturday and 1 on Sunday. That is unless there is something scheduled at Applebee's Park. If so, they could also move some games to Cliff Hagen Stadium as a possibility. These are just my opinion of course nothing official.

That should help Harrison County as every game in the 10th Region Tournament had rain delays! :thumb:

Not much to say on this one. Trinity owns a 4-0 win over the Breds and unless there is an overturn in the disqualification of the Harrison County player the Breds will be shorthanded as well. I think Harrison will put forth a great effort as always, but the odds are leaning in Trinity's favor. Trinity should win this one, but never count the Thorobreds out. Good luck to the Thorobreds!

I think some of the seats behind home plate and the netting are reserved seats, but most of the seating is general admission.

See thread on Semi-State 3 game where 2 coaches from E Town were ejuected because a Bullitt East player barreled over the E Town catcher and nothing was called. Consistancy by the best umpires the KHSAA has to offer. And as for the video it pretty much explains itself. The Lex Cath player ran over the catcher intentionally.

Next year you won't have to worry about the Semi-State schedule.

And this is the best of the best the KHSAA has to offer for umpires. Maybe there should be some consistancy training for all umpires and rules clarification training during the off season. Can't wait to see the video of this one. Hopefully an E Town fan can supply us with the video.

This is true, I think what the HCHS fans would like to see is for the KHSAA to view both videos and see if they both should have been no calls. In the HCHS game the Beechwood catcher was up the line and the throw was high. Really, both should have been no calls and thus there would be no discussion about the difference in how the umpires ruled the plays. Suspending a kid for the State Tournament on a judgement call is very harsh. He is a Junior. make him sit the first game of next year, but jeez, do not suspend him for the State Tournament on such a questionable judgement call.

Lexington Catholic player rolls a catcher and gets nothing and Harrison County player gets suspended 1 game. The KHSAA needs to fix this before the State Tournament starts. Umpire K.M. suspends the Harrison County player one game and Umpire B.E. lets this go with no call. The Harrison County player should be re-instated. Go to this link to see the picture for yourself. Impressive stats, but individual stats don't win championships. It is amazing that with these impressive numbers they won 0 Regional Championships. Best of luck to these young men in their future careers.

Why would that be any different than the play that Dunbar used to use where the runner on 1st base walked out into right field? The runner was never called out for being out of baseline then.

Saying that you didn't see anyone who was better than EJ in the 10th region and stating that he was far better than anyone else in the 10th Region are 2 totally different comments. Not trying to take away from his accomplishments at all, but there were several very good players in the 10th Region.

I congratulated him on the award, but saying he is by far the best player in the region is a bit of a stretch. There are several good ball players in the 10th Region. Some of them didn't even make it to the Regional Tournament. Patrick Johnson of Pendleton County has already signed with University of the Cumberlands and he didn't even make it to the 10th Region Tournament and the same for some Brossart players and Montgomery County players. So congratulations to Murray, but let's don't push it too far.

Yeah and possibly playing 2 games in one day is a bad situation as well. Momentum to East if they win the 1st game. This is one of the reasons why the KHSAA went away from the two day semi-state after 2004.

Harrison County is playing much better ball now than they were then. Harrison has not lost since they lost to Trinity 4-0 and Lex Catholic 13-7 in the Bullitt East Tournament. If they continue to play good ball, they shoould have a chance to avenge both of those losses.
