There has been rain or lightning delays every day of the Tournament I think.

Believe it or not, a lightning and rain delay in the bottom of the 6th of the 10th Region Semi-Finals. Harrison County 9 Campbell County 3. Campbell County has one on and one out and Matthew Dye has just come on to pitch for the Breds. Probably looking at at least a 1 hour delay as of 6:45 p.m. I will update as soon as the game resumes.

Estes in now on in relief in the 6th of Rueff (sp.) and the score is now 9-1 after 5 1/2 innings with Campbell County coming to bat in the home half of the 6th.

Harrison scored 4 in the 1st off Broering and took a 4-0 lead after 1. Harrison increased it to 5-0 before Campbell answered with 1 in the 5th. After 5 innings it is Harrison County 5 Campbell County 1.

Prayers from Harrison County for the sister, parents, family and friends of this young man. Such a tragedy that we hear of way too often. May God be with them during this time and give them the strength to trust in Him as He is in control of our lives and although we don't understand why things like this happen, they happen according to His plan. What is the best way to get to Scott High from Lexington?

Any additional information? I agree the games have been very late with the rain delays and all. I pray that your information is incorrect.

If Mynear is on there could be 2 very good games at Scott High tomorrow night.

State Tournament is wide open and should be exciting at Applebee's.

Campbell started and went 5+ and Mynear pitched 2.

Bluejackets rally from 4-1 deficit to advance to face Scott High.

I picked Bourbon earlier in another thread, but the Colonels have played a very weak schedule and it could show tonight. Best of luck to both teams. I think both games tonight could be great games.

That is nice team work in Conner allowing Scott to use their tarp. I didn't know that Scott did not have a tarp. Per the forecast the tarp may get put to good use today and tomorrow.

They have always assisted with tarps no matter where they play. I remember several years ago at the State Tourney in Paducah they helped get the tarp out. Those young men are well schooled in taking care of the field.

I spoke with one of the coaches this morning and he does have a lingering headache and is sore, but all indications are that he will be alright. Thanks to all for their prayers and concerns.

Not according to the radio, I was only listening to "Jumpin" Jim Swinford. He said it was a perfect throw and the catcher did a great job of holding his ground.

It went 13 innings! Congrats to Campbell on throwing out the winning run at the plate in the bottom of the 7th for the 3rd out. The rest of the games are rained out. Harrison plays Bracken on Tuesday. Scott plays Bourbon on Wednesday along with Nicholas playing Mason. The Semi's are Thursday and the Chamionship on Friday. This delay will help Campbell's staff some.

Does anyone know if Scott has a tarp? Sounds as if it may be needed.

It should be an exciting tournament. I hope to be there for some of it anyway. Good luck to all participants. I really think Nicholas has a chance to make it to the finals. I am going with: GRC Harrison Bourbon Nicholas Harrison Nicholas Harrison I think Nicholas wins without Mynear or Campbell against Mason County, uses Mynear to beat Bourbon and then has Campbell for the Championship Game. 3 of the 4 opening round games should be dandy's. This one didn't surprise me. I saw Bourbon the other night and I was not impressed. The record is glistening, but the weak schedule will catch up with you come post season play.
