What a way to start off the 10th region tourney. Campbell used their whole staff. The tourney is now on rain delay.

How long did this game last? I had to stop listening at the top of the 7th and CC was ahead 4-1. At that point GRC had just brought in their 4th pitcher, in Robert Bell. I thought the game was over and didn't listen to the rest of the game....:irked:.

The game started at 10:30 and ended at 2:10 - 2:20.

It went 13 innings! Congrats to Campbell on throwing out the winning run at the plate in the bottom of the 7th for the 3rd out. The rest of the games are rained out. Harrison plays Bracken on Tuesday. Scott plays Bourbon on Wednesday along with Nicholas playing Mason. The Semi's are Thursday and the Chamionship on Friday. This delay will help Campbell's staff some.

Was this a questionable call?

Not according to the radio, I was only listening to "Jumpin" Jim Swinford. He said it was a perfect throw and the catcher did a great job of holding his ground.

Is this a Harrison Co station? So it was a close call then?

I would have to say if you were a Clark fan it possibly could be one but I honestly think the Campbell County catcher blocked the plate perfectly. It was a close play. Great throw by Nate Losey as well.

Thanks for the info...wished I had listen to the rest of the game instead of cooking dinner.:irked:

Does their whole staff consist of just two pitchers, because the first guy(number 8) was pitching when I got there in the 5th inning and he didn't leave until after the 10th, did he not start, just assumed he did, because the Cards only had 1 run at the time. Then they brought in a left hander for the 11th,12th and 13th innings. Is this right or not? may have missed some things talking.

Campbell County used one of their relief pitchers to PH at one time. Can't remember what inning and Estes struggled so he only threw 1 1/3 innings (I think) and then Sellers threw the majority of the game and then Broering came in to complete it.

Did they throw all their pitchers? NO but did they throw their better ones today, probably so. If Rief had not PH then he probably could have gone in a relief spot.

I just assumed Sellers started because Clark only had 1 run in the 4th inning when I got there. How did Estes struggle? Did Clark County throw anyone after Bell? Can't recall. Just find it hard to believe that schools as big as those two can't develop at least5-6 really good pitchers. Sellers wasn't anything special, but was impressed with the lefty at the end(Broering), is he their ace?

Franzen started for the Camels and went 3 innings. Then Estes pitched 2 innings plus one batter. Then Sellers threw 5 2/3 and Broering completed the game throwing 2 1/3. Rief is another starter who was used as a PH.

I now know this but still don't know why CC went through 2 pitchers early and only had given up 1 run.:idunno: Thought Broering threw very well, will he start in their next game?
