Since Trinity seems to be winning this informal poll,Who has the best Public school stadium?

Finish it Monday...finish it somewhere else...play it at any school and broadcast it closed circuit to Freedom hall or that monstrous church...anything. Who cares how many fans got to see it at an alternate site??? It's about the kids and deciding games on the field in 48 minutes. I truly hope the decision wasn't made based on how many or how few fans would have gotten to see it.

1 thru 5 is right on. Throw 6 thru 10 in a hat with about 5 or 6 other teams to come up with something close to being accurate. same can be said for Harlan...who have they beaten??

I am amazed that no one found a way to finish this game, somewhere, sometime, somehow?????

This was a great game. I was there. Reading this website, I think some folks here may have been somewhere else. This thread is about the Pikeville v Belfry game,isn't it. I cannot believe this thread has been allowed,since last night, to become a bash fest....why not talk about the game, It was a great one. This game has become an ugly affair, according to some posts, by some folks that I think saw a different game than I did. IMO, Belfry fans should be more concerned about Pikeville's D-Linemen being in their backfield all night than about the QB getting hit. AND IMO, Pikeville fans should be concerned about the lack of poise shown on the field, even when touted w/ verbal comments. It was a great hard fought game. BTW...I have the official game stats in front of me and there were NO unportsmanlike penalties, there were three dead ball personal fouls, two on Pikeville and one on Belfry. lol I can pick apart any post. I disagree though...I think if either team loses two fumbles they'll be in trouble.

Whatever. If Belfry puts it on the ground 8 times they will not win this game.

Boy, I'm glad most Belfry fans are as Classy as their team and coach not like others who must have moved in, transferred in, or swam the river and now are hangers on.

It's funny, I keep hearing Belfry fans talk about "the last five years" and "since 2001" and on and on. These are not the kinds of things I'd expect from Belfry folks. I have always heard that a team takes on the coach's personality and I think the Belfry team has....Class Coach Haywood and staff always display tremendous class. It's too bad some of the class around the program hasn't made it to everyone. I would guarantee the players and coaches aren't gloating about games in years past.

I'm not sure who will dominate but I believe it is absolutely the key to this game.

:lol: I don't think Pikeville is concerned about weight as much as strength. I guess, if they were they would spend more time at McDonalds and less in the weight room. I've seen alot of 250-300lb lineman pushed around by smaller, stronger lines.

Playing hard won't get it for SV against Sheldon Clark, Belfry, and possibly even P-Burg...SV doesn't have the horses to compete with SC or Belfry at this time.

Belfry will roll. Bigger, stronger, offense is further along. Belfry Wins Big.

I disagree, SV hasn't wrapped up anything yet. ER will play SV tough. SC will roll past SV and I'll be surprised if SV beats P-Burg.

Centrals coach isn't new. If this game comes down to coaching, and it could, I'd go with Pike Central.

Current "culture" does not mean it's right. I know a coach or two that banned their players from it...who's running the show? The coach or "culture"? One of these same coaches told their players to spend their pregame "face painting" time focusing on the opponent.
