My better half, and the kids, got me a fire pit. I love to sit around a fire late at night and take it easy. One of my sons bought me tickets to the 3 Doors Down concert in September. Surprised me, but well appreciated. And I do like 3 Doors down.

Strangers is, loosely, based on the Keddie Cabin murders that happened in Keddie, California in 1981. You can find info on the net. Also, I have read that it is, somewhat, based on the Manson murders as well.

I've watched this several times and it looks intentional on the catcher's part. I don't think that the pitcher was in on it at all. It didn't hit the batter because he didn't make a motion towards first and instantly throws up his hand to hold up the runner. In no way should this ever be a part of the game. I don't care if the ump made a thousand bad calls, this should not have been done. The game was being broadcast and if the ump was making bad calls, it's there on tape. Let the GHSAA handle it. And, it wasn't too harsh for him to lose his scholarship to play ball at this college. No way a coach would have a kid on the team like this kid. I hope his parents disciplined as well.

There are only 3 teams having tryouts. I know that the Reds have had open tryouts for a while and the Astros have at Applebee's Park the past 3 years. Anyone know why teams aren't doing the tryouts this year?

Like to see Cohen stay. If not, I wish him luck at Mississippi State.
