The game is being played at Hazard because KCC is having sone work done to the dugouts at their feild. I don't think it'll be on the radio. Who was injured from Lee? I hate to hear this, it's early in the season and hopefully the young man will be back real soon. I wish him the best.

Knott scored 6 runs in the 1st inning and never looked back. Buckhorn played with a lot of heart. Buckhorn will surprise a few in the region. Winning pitcher for KCC was Evan Potter. Fort LeBoeuf High School is in Waterforb, Pennsylvania. It's an 8 1/2 hour drive (over 500 miles). They also scrimmaged Hazard. The coach said that they decided to make a trip and play some teams outside of the state. We have scrimmaged a team from Ohio last season, Woodridge, and we will be playing a team from Virginia on April 10th. Most of these teams are very good and it's always great to see what other states have.

Same thing here at Knott. Too cold and it snowed here early this morning. Got a little dusting. Hopefully, they'll be scrimmaging Wednesday.

There usually is. Just the way it is. Plus, these teams are pretty good. Lexington Catholic is in the top 25 national poll. I believe they are listed at 15 or 16.

They have the Pre Season top 25* Poll listed. Check it out and debate. :thumb: *There are 26 team listed. A couple recieved the same votes, therefore, two teams were given the #8 and #24 spot.

There's a couple I can say, but, I'd be biased. With that being said, there are a few on other teams that I feel could have been put on these list. And I'm not saying that none of these boys deserve to be on the list, they do. Some players can't be added because their coach isn't a member of the KHSBCA. I think that Buckhorn is one of those schools.

Here's the latest. Looks like Bud is wanting to give some advice, but will not answer his phone. Metal Bat Ban Best qoute in the article, "But when the protection of student-athletes is left to people who are in bed with the metal bat companies," Oddo resumed, "someone has to do something."

I've seen both Clark Stepp and Justin Hicks play. And IMO, Hicks is just that much better. If he doesn't have the shot, he'll give it up. He's quicker. Stepp just isn't a team player. While he can bring it inside and shoot outside, he just isn't a player that most college coaches will go for. He's to hyped. As for the game, Hazard gave it their best. But when you just shoot 8 foul shots to one opposing players 18, it isn't going you're way.

I'll start it off, IMO, some great players left off of this list, especially from KCC. Call me biased, but that's my opinion. And, I believe a few would agree.

I think that Powell will be the district champs. They have some great players returning. Lee may be OK. Being under a new coach and going through his routine and his way of coaching may hurt. Again, though, Knott Central's basketball team did pretty good under a new coach. We'll see how it turns out.
