  1. Your right. But Malls and schools should do the same as what Southwest did. You want to cut down on sexual predators, quit letting young girls wear skimpy clothes in public. I bet their pajama's cover more than what they wear in public. So sue Southwest for having morals.
  2. Southwest has the right to do what they did. I wonder if the show "Airline" (on the A&E network) was taping at the time this happen. Then we could see what really happened.
  3. 7 - Russell 5 - Raceland 3 - North Laurel 2 - Lincoln Co. 1 - Bell County TB - Russell
  4. Exactly Ram, getting better and experience for the younger players is the GOAL. As EKUalum has stated confidence is the key. Keeping their heads together is a tough task but I think this coaching staff can do it with the support of the Fans and parents.
  5. I posted in another thread about LC schedule which I think is the toughest in 4A. Keeping their confidence is the key for the Dawgs. Here is the link to other thread: http://www.bluegrasspreps.com/showthread.php?t=129052
  6. OK, I know LC is 0-3 to start the season, but their non-district opponents are very good and LC may have the toughest schedule in the 4A class. Here is their schedule of non-district teams: Coal Grove ....3-0 Belfry ...........3-0 Sheldon Clark .3-0 Russell ..........3-0 Breathitt Co....3-0 Prestonburg ...2-1 (only loss to Breathitt who is 3-0) Letcher C.C. ..2-1 (only loss to Hazard who is 3-0) That is a combined record of 19-2 of non-district opponents. Now their district opponents are a combined record of 1-7. Boyd Co.........0-3 Greenup Co.....0-2 (open last week) Rowan Co.......1-2 (only win against Morgan Co. which is 0-2 and have been outscored 86-18 in two games) So when everyone keeps saying LC will be OK when they get to their district play they are right. The one thing that the LC coaching have to keep doing is keeping their players spirit up and keep learning week to week.
  7. Wow, How does two schools like Ironton and Ashland have bad years in the same year. I really thought Ashland would run away with this game.
  8. I believe LC should play the best athletes at that position or any position regardless of class they are in. Lawrence County 28 Sheldon Clark 22 Coty Roberts scores 3TD in this game.
  9. That was our Theme song also back in 1982. Seems like only yesterday, LOL.
  10. The games for the week of September 7, 2007: 7 - Rowan County vs. East Jessamine 5 - Pulaski County vs. Russell County 3 - Magoffin County vs. Pike County Central 2 - Campbellsville vs. Lynn Camp 1 - Phelps vs. Allen Central TB: Lynn Camp
  11. LSU 31 VT 7 LSU is just that good. They were probably the best team in the SEC last year and the same goes for this year.
  12. I think the Dawgs will play inspired football, but the question is will it be enough. I hope so. LC - 22 SC - 20 Sidenote: How long do LC fans think it will be before the Sheppard kid is at QB?
  13. Her name isn't Leigh is it? :D If so, run, run far away.  If not, talk to her. Nothing gets done or resolved without talking to each other about your feelings for each other. TALK, TALK, TALK even if it takes all night Talk it out.
  14. OK, I just got back to Ohio and I didn't make it to the game like I had planned. So sorry Watusi I didn't get to meet you there. Now after going to the Youth league games on Saturday and Meeting on Sunday with my Fantasy Football League, here is what they have said about LC and Belfry game. I first asked if Lawrence County that bad or what and they said NO!! Belfry was that good. I heard comments about their Defense being the best they have seen since the early 90's in the state. They also said Belfry's offense is good but what makes them really good is the field position the defense gives them. So Congrats to Belfry on the victory. Now for LC, they think LC could very well start 0-4 and still make a serious run in the playoffs. So I am thinking that the watered down 4A is not as good as the 3A. So Lawrence County fans and team members stick with what you are doing and things will come around.
  15. I haven't been to the new stadium. I will be coming in on US 52 from the WV side, so is it easy to find?
  16. The OHSAA investigated them once already and found nothing. I would think this is to satisfy some local schools who are crying foul.
  17. Well looks like I am going to be there for the game. I am leaving Columbus as soon as my kids get out of school and I should be at Cam right at kickoff. Any other BGP people going to be there? Would really like to meet Watusi and some other posters.
  18. Yes overall in OHIO, but that alot of times is better than alot of KY football. Coal Grove Dawson-Bryant - 1996, 1992, 1990, 1989, 1986, 1983, 1981 These are the years that they have made the playoffs. 7 times I guess is not on the map.
  19. Where does everyone get that Coal Grove is a below average team in Ohio? Yes they have some bad years but this year they have 16 starters back from a team that went 6-4 and they have a very good coach in Dave Lucas who coached Coal Grove back in the 80's when they were good, then he left for Buffalo(Wayne), WV and won a state title there in Class AA in the 90's. LC may or may not win but they will not be blown out by Belfry. This game will be no different than any other LC/Belfry game "A tough hard fought game". I cannot go against my Dawgs: Lawrence County 24 Belfry 22
  20. Michael Shaw was on Kettering Alter's D-III runner-up team. He ran for 70 yards on 9 carries and 1 TD(42 yd run) and caught 1 pass for a 50 yard TD. They lost to Stubenville 34-33. Shaw has committed to Penn State. Shaw is 6'1" 192 RB. Here are their other players who have committed to D-1 schools: Doug Rippy 6'3" 220 LB (University of Nebraska) Roy Roundtree WR ( Purdue U.) Domonick Britt QB ( Cincinnati) Brandon Moore TE ( Michigan ) Besides Shaw and Rippy there is 4 new kids that have transferred in to Trotwood, there are: Jamlihr Williams 6'2 234 LB (Lima Senior) Keith-Sean Foster 6'6 230 Two-way Lineman ( Chaminade- Julienne) Norman Young 6'1 175 WR/DB (Northridge) Keith Woods 6'2 280 OL (Dunbar) All these players plus a good returning class make Trotwood the Preseason #1 in D-II in Ohio. I know Highlands has played teams with alot of talent, I honestly think that TM has the most talent a Highlands team has seen. Here is some side notes. A D-II school in Ohio has 365 to 523 boys. Trotwood has 472 boys.
  21. 7 - Ashland 5 - Bath County 3 - Clay County 2 - Knox Central 1 - Breathitt County TB - Ashland
