East needs to maybe SHOOT the ball and well here it is to much coaching let them freelance and run the floor play a little street ball a good dose of coach just letting them play not pass around the perimeter , same for years watch as the guard walks the ball down then to a wing and never an attempt at penetratition, Jackson needs to be turned loose.
They need the Mays approach
East played as to not to lose rather than playing to win if that makes since, Fairview done what it needed very good win for Fairview, East better learn to loosen up and let their kids play.
East should be at full strength the two that wre out played against Morgan only way East keeps it respectful is dominate time of possesion, easy said but east might suprise some folk with their size and athletes.
Elliott 87
East 75
I'man East fan but realisticly Russell completely dominates East, as shown last week some teams never seam to get to the same level as schools with the winning traditions.
Russell 35
East 6
Mason probably will prevail by the numbers of actual productive players then again East d is pretty good especially with White back which he did play against Raceland and is a great rb infront of Caroll with that said
Mason 27
East 14
East doesn't have the horses to move the ball on offense against most teams they will play this year,7 points in 2 games, on the other hand their d seems to be pretty good 12 points in 2 games. Their depth may be their achilles heel last week one player being out really stuck out to me , I'd say
Raceland 21
East 7
Theres a good possibility that East might have a different QB next year with Carroll at tailback which in my opinion would make them a much stronger offensive team. As long as Damron is at the helm East program will always be a contender
I believe passing the ball gives the offense the bigger advantage as the receiver knows and can prepare his cuts or moves as the defender has to adjust on these moves with out the benefit of knowing which way he must plant. In muddy conditions this leaves the defender on the ground alot
Yes East would be considering they are very young along with some un timely loss of some key players for different reasons, but they are still good enough to make the playoffs in their district, coach Damron really is over achieving with the players that he has this year last years team was senior dominated and it will be a rebuilding process
Great game by the Rams was really impressed in all aspects as for East's Qb he was going to have his ankle checked out might be pretty serious but thats all I know
