  1. Hope she takes him up on it. A lot more money than what the WNBA will be paying her.
  2. Well it won't be north of $30 million next year. Think I saw it drops to $27 million.
  3. Seems like members of BBN have a few choices for 2024-2025: 1) Support the Coach/Team loudly and proudly. 2) Hope for the best but do so somewhat quietly. 3) Be toxic and loud about it. 4) Quit BBN until Calipari is out but not make everyone hear about it constantly. Feels like most fans are going to fall into #2 and #3. I hope most can find a way to fall into #2 because #3 is no way to go through life, no fun for anyone, and only makes it tougher to recruit future players and hire a coach in the future. But in the end, you can't tell anyone how to "be a fan" of a team.
  4. Needs to read his own book and get after it. We ride at dawn!
  5. Why isn't Jerome Tang in the loop for this hire? I feel like he'd be solid.
  6. I don't really pay much attention or follow Women's basketball but seems like a strong hire by Barnhart.
  7. I think it is very reasonable to think that with Dillingham and Sheppard's explosion in popularity, which was warranted, could have messed with Wagner's psychology (which is partially why I thought taking him out of the starting lineup would crush him and make him worthless). Combine that with battling through some injury while the others were starting to get that shine. Wagner had a few games last year where he really showed his potential. If Cal comes back and Wagner returns, I feel good about him next year and hopefully the steps he can make to being exactly what this team would need alongside a returning Sheppard. Tons of Ifs there.
  8. Listened yesterday for the first time in a few years. Listened again today.
  9. Kenny Brooks has been hired by UK. He was at Virginia Tech. Kentucky is making him a Top 10 paid Coach in Women's Basketball.
  10. Jump on board @nikeman49, we are running it back haha! I'll do my best to not defend him in 2024-2025, but I'm sure we'll still have some disagreements.
  11. I personally didn't think that was an issue this year, he just couldn't stay healthy. I actually think Theiro toughed out an injury quite a bit this year.
  12. I keep thinking that I want a strong wing that attacks hard and gives ultimate effort to transfer in. Assuming he keeps getting better and can be healthy next year, we have that in Theiro. I'm with you and I think he's still here if Cal is. I'd be real surprised if he's not.
  13. I might be misremembering but I feel much more confident with DJ Wagner's potential to knock down a three ball than Briscoe. But man, Briscoe was a bulldog at attacking the basket and finishing.
  14. I really think I like the idea of Reed Sheppard and a stronger, more physical, heathier and more smarter version of DJ Wagner as sophomores, I like where that team is heading.
  15. Caitlin Clarke has a potty mouth haha! Was it her dad she was yelling at?
  16. Yeah, Barnhart is going to have to fire him. He's not agreeing to part ways. If Barnhart was gonna do so, it needed to happen before that radio ahow.
  17. Just read that as of now, Calipari is expected to do his radio show at 6pm tonight.
  18. So glad they did. Needed 8 points from Washington for A&M to close out a parlay haha!
  19. Was driving home from the gym yesterday during the 2nd half of the Purdue game. They said that Matt Painter essentially has an assistant coach who is his Offensive Coordinator. Didn't thing that was a big deal or some new idea, until I heard them say that he even let's this coach call the offensive plays/sets using a whiteboard. Kentucky would have to have plays first though, right? lol
  20. Great way to end the weekend. Really enjoy both Shead and Radford. Houston is my champion, so glad they survived but kinda wanted Buzz Williams to get the Win.
  21. Yeah idk. I'd have to watch it again. Which I can't bring myself to do. My friends would say it's Caliapri's fault that Sheppard and Dilly didn't play like themselves cause of how we poorly prepared them and how Cal had them play against the zone. Or that Cal didn't plan better defensively to not let Gohlke even catch the ball.
  22. I think that's what this year was for a large chunk of BBN. Even I said before the season, he has to make a run this season and he didn't. Now I'm not clamoring for Kentucky to move on but it's why I just can't defend it anymore and if his time has come to an end, no belly aching from me.
