  1. Thanks for the updates. Keep them coming. Go Cougars!
  2. Congrats to Arlo and the team. The hard work paid off. Good luck at state.
  3. If it's a Hebron team, like the Union Raiders & Union Jags were set up then they should all be going to Conner. If not, then it sounds like just another attempt to form a super star team.
  4. And are all of the kids on the Bandits going to Conner?
  5. Congrats to Coach Arlo! Nice outing by the Cougars.
  6. Chase Ross will be a sophomore and he will Iikely start. Logan Ross will be a senior and should be considered as one if the top lineman in NKY.
  7. The key will be if the Raiders can develop a quarterback. Bateman, McGregor, England & Woolf all have good speed. It will all depend on how they are utilized on offense. Lots of talent returning on defense. Ryan Woolf 1st Team Coaches Association, Alex Brownell, Jon Belk, Johnny Meiman, Mason Locke all saw varsity time as sophomores & juniors.
  8. The facility is very nice. It offers volleyball, basketball, softball, baseball, golf and fitness training. There are strong trainers with experience. NKJV which has been in existence for over 30 years uses the facility for volleyball. Nancy Winstel has been in the facility for personal training for basketball. Stephanie Tieman is one of the personal trainers for Fitness.
  9. Nice win for the Cougars. Hopefully they keep improving each week to prepare for post season.
  10. Andrew is well deserving of this award with his academic performance, community service and football talent. His resume is quite impressive.
  11. People always make excuses. I had a number of coaches that I did not like in high school and college. It did not keep me from playing the sport I love.
  12. Congrats to Cameron. Smart kid and hard worker.
  13. That depends on the club you play for so not entirely true. Also, I have had numerous players miss volleyball in the summer due to AAU basketball & Travel softball. You have to be willing to work with kids. There are clubs still holding tryouts & extending invites but many are limited, but if you check the club sites in the area there are still clubs looking for players.
  14. Ryle only had 3 seniors play offense and two play defense last week. I don't care who the coach is that is tough.
  15. I did not make any excuses for the coach. My statement is that there are a lot of injuries and a lot of the kids starting are juniors and sophomores. That makes a difference when you are playing teams that playing a lot of seniors.
  16. Ryle has a lot of injuries that has impacted their season. They are also very young. Starting many juniors and sophomores on defense and offense.
  17. Campbell County only scored above 27 point one time this year. I see this being a very close game.
  18. Are all of the injured players from Cov Cath back for this week's game?
  19. I have been watching him play since his days on the Chiefs in the Boone County Pee Wee Football system. He has a great work ethic and speed for D-Line. He is a playmaker. It's great to see him get some recognition.
  20. Great kid and great family. These are the type of kids you want in your program. They work hard every single day and defy the odds. They don't quit because they are not satisfied with their role on the team. They better themselves to earn the spot. I respect Jacob and all of the other players that may not get recognition. Jacob sets a great example and hopefully others will continue to follow in his footsteps.
  21. She plays for Team Z and that club website has her listed as going to Xavier University.
